We have it in our bathroom and I want to install it on other rooms as well. When we put it in, I got some advice that you don't want to use Pergo in area's where it could get very wet, bathroom, kitchen, etc. unless you protect it, so basedo on the advice we got, we used about 4 thin layer's of "Spar" varnish - it's a special varnish used for wooden boats. You have to put on the coats very thin, let them dry for 12 hours, and lightly sand between coats so it was a pain to get done, but it gives it a very hard protective finish and we haven't had problems with streaks using a wet swiffer.
I still love that floor, still looks great.
