Anyone have a Jeep Cherokee stroller?

I am a certified stroller-buying maniac! I have 2 sons - 1 is 3.5 years and the other 5 months. This is my older son's 3rd trip to Disney and I decided yesterday to impulsively buy him another stroller. We have a Combi Travel Savvy that has made the trip twice so far but last year I found it was harder to turn well since he was bigger. The one I bought yesterday is a Jeep Cherokee stroller made by Kolcraft. I wanted to see if anyone has one of these and how they like it for older children. It says it goes up to 45lbs. and is quite roomy and has lots of nice conveniences (parent tray, child tray, side saddle bags, huge basket, one hand fold, etc.).

I have already bought a new Chicco London stroller for my 5 month old and am very pleased with it so far. I would have bought another of these but the weight limit is not as high. I wouldn't want him in the old Combi because it does not recline as well (has a strap in back that only lets it recline a little bit).

So if you own one of these Jeeps, let me know how you liked it and if it held up well for WDW!!!

It sounds like your Jeep stroller is a few steps up from ours. We have a Jeep Cherokee umbrella-style stroller, which has a canopy, adult cup holder, basket and one position recline. We took our 11 mo. DD to WDW with it in March, and it worked great. She slept in it in 2 parks and was never uncomfortable. We use it in the malls and wherever else we go out (the zoo, museums, etc) and it's held up great! I would personally recommend any Jeep stroller, and yours sounds even nicer than ours!

Mur!

I have the full size Jeep stroller and it's terrible. We took it to Disney last year and my son weighed about 35lbs. It was hard to manuver and it was REALLY heavy and cumbersome on the buses. I wouldn't reccomend it.

Hi. I recently purchased the Jeep stroller for our son who is 2.5 and 30 pounds. It is the medium stroller made by Kolcraft, not the full size. We have been very happy with it so far. My reason for purchasing it were the same as yours. I wanted something my son would be comfortable in for a while longer. I have made several mall trips with this stroller and I have not had any problems. I really like the feature on this stroller where the front folds completely back. Much easier to get my son in and out of the stroller. He just crawls right in!! With our evenflo stroller, his legs would get scratched going under the tray. Also, we could never get him out if he was asleep without waking him up. This stroller is also a little lighter and smaller for handling than my full size stroller. And of course the steering wheel is a big hit with our son. Have not been to Disney yet, but we are going in November. I hope this stroller works well, but I am pretty confident in my purchase. Hope this helps!!

Okay I guess we don't have the full size...I thought it was..and I'm not sure what is considered full size...but we have the one with the steering wheel and the saddle bags and all that jazz. I still think it's awful though. It's going to the Goodwill soon!!!

We had the Jeep with the steering wheel and saddlebags for our son last year for DL, he was almost 4 and like 30lbs and it worked great for us. I really liked it and those saddle bags were soooo handy! He liked it too, he was comfy and happy
