Anyone have a hybrid car?

I'm going to go look at the Prius tonight. Anyone have one, or one of the other hybrids?

If I get a hybrid, I get an exemption to use the HOV lanes during rush hour. Our metro is getting incredibly unreliable the last few months, and the stress of being late to work/daycare is getting to me. Plus, saving a little $$ over a van is attractive.
I'm leaning to the Prius mainly because it's a better warranty.

I don't own one but I'd definitely consider it if they came out with one that has 4 wheel drive.

My husband bought a Honda Civic Hybrid on 12/31/03. I hear they are phasing out the tax incentive but you will still be able to deduct $1500 from your income if you buy in '04. We love the car. Gets great mileage (have filled it only twice since we bought it and have driven nearly 900 miles!) I have heard great things about the Prius as well, but we did not look at it since we are Honda people.

We have a Civic Hybrid too! I love it. I get 40 - 44 MPG and I do a lot of around town driving. We bought it last Sept & love the $2000 tax break for 2003!

Well, I looked. The Prius is awesome. Very different. I'm gonna play around with it, but I'll probably put an order in this week. I have a honda, love hondas, but the Prius is larger with more cargo capacity (this will be our only car, not a second) and the warranty is 5 years on the drive train instead of honda's 3. (Plus, my next door neighbor just bought the blue one, and we'd get the same color! )

The one I tried had a navigation system. After two commands, I wanted to tell the computer where SHE should go.... Guess I'll save some money!

We have one and love it. It also has the navigation system. Why didn't you like it - just the woman's voice?
