Anyone have a full mattress on a Queen bed Frame?

I cant seem to find any Full bed frames that arent $$$$$$. I have found a couple nice queen bed frames but I worried when I put in the full mattress it will fall right through...........

check at second hand stores and pawn shops for a full bed frame.

You are just talking about the metal piece on wheels that keeps the matress/box spring off of the ground, right? We bought ours at Sam's Club for $35, but it is universal (can be adjusted for twin-cal king) so I'm not sure if we are talking about the same thing?

I have a metal frame now but i wanted to update the bed to a nicer one. The one that sits on the wood frames... like a platform bed. not sure if thats what is called becuase the bed wouldnt lay really low. it would just have the headboard wood rails and footboard.

i just got a new bed. full size. i put the box spring rite on the floor.. no frame because frames are so expensive.. so i have the boxspring on the floor and the mattress rite on top of that. the boxspring was only 99 dollars.. as apposed to hundreds i would have spent on a frame.. and u can put either a sheet or bedskirt over the boxspring and it looks mighty fine. cheep and cheerful!

oh im sorry i should read before i post! i saw that you wanted to get a wooden bed! well you can get a brown sheet and pretend its wood! hehe no?
