I loved my make up artist. I just went the total wrong direction and have decided what not to have done for my wedding. I look like a pageant girl. Nothing wrong with that except I am a plain jane mom...LOL I wish I had had my mom or my BFF there to help me out as it doesn't look like me at all. When it was first done, I thought it looked good but I felt so uncomfortable. I was just going with how I thought a bride should look kwim??

It's the brides right to change their mind, right????

i was not impressed with mine and i told them and my wedding day it was perfect so just speak out

I actually at the time think I just got so carried away with the whole thing I didn't realize that my hair didn't come out the way I had shown her in the picture....I mean, I liked the way I looked and it was all exciting having my hair put up and having my make-up done and all...

But I have e-mailed once saying that the hair didn't really come out the way I wanted it to and will bring more pictures for the big day. I think it just needs to be more of a messy bun more on top of my head not just all these pinned curls towards the back of my head, so I dont' think it's a huge difference (at least I hope it's not).

As far as makeup goes, I do really like the way it came out, but she didn't have a lipcolour I liked so I will bring one down with me just in case. My rosacea was pretty bad for the first few days we were down there on this last vacation (I think because of the stress of packing etc) so I felt kind of bad when she had to do my makeup....

All that being said, I did feel entirely comfortable and relaxed and am looking forward to having my hair and makeup done at 4:30am on my big day!! :rotfl:

I didn't hate my trial run, but I did have DH airbrush the bronzer out of all the engagement pix we took that day! :rotfl:

On the wedding day, I changed my hairstyle from the trial and I asked for no bronzer, and it worked out great! She had no trouble doing a different look.

This was my main concern as i was pretty certain i would hate my makeup, im a makeup artist so am very particular on how i like my makeup done.
However i was very lucky & my trial run was fantastic, Lili from B.Speciale did an amazing job. I did take photos of both the hair & makeup i wanted & basically said "this is exactly how i want it". She copied them both perfectly,I must say i was thrilled as in my head i was telling myself "im not gonna be happy".

Personally if you ve had your makeup/hair done & you re not happy then tell them straight away. You ve paid for this service & you need to feel happy & confident that you look your best. They should be more than willing to change anything, its your big day so you need to feel a million dollars!!!Remember your photos will be something you look at for the rest of your life, you dont want to look back at them & not like the way you look

Yeah, that was the thing though....at the time I liked it, because I was all so caught up in the moment I didn't realize until the next day or so after I looked at the pic I showed her that it didn't really look like that...so I didn't tell her right away, because I didn't realize it...

I'm hoping everything will go ok on the big day...I know I will have to bring more than one pic and bring a pic of how she did it for the trial run so she can see the difference...

I liked my trial run at first, and the more I looked at it the less I liked it. because I changed my mind not because of anything the vendor did.

On my wedding day it was perfect. I had let them know what I wanted to change, and she worked wiht me to do it and I was extremely happy. I too wanted less bronzer.

I hated my trial run, not that she did a bad job just that the up do I thought I wanted just dd not look like me but I did love the maekup. So i stuck with the makeup and changed the hair the day of the wedding.

I was exactly the same, I loved it at first but as I looked at pictures I just thought it wasn't just right. On my wedding day I don't think my hair was prefect but pretty close (I think we are most critical of ourselves). I told them I thought my makeup was applied too heavy and that I didn't want eyelashes because they kept falling off and they fixed my makeup and only put a few eyelashes in the corner and they stayed put. A good makeup artist will listen and make sure you are happy! GL

I did like it at first, kindof. I just thought i had to get used to it. I had that idea in my head but after the fact, I realized it wasn't me. I am going to find a hair & make up artist around here and have another trial run. I need one here anyways, for the at home reception. I have complete confidence in my disney hair and make up artist that she can copy it.

I just thought I wanted this princessy look and now I realize that I want something different. It stinks though, cause this has me second guessing my princess dress. I was buying a second dress for the at home reception and now I think I just want to wear it for it all when I spent a small fortune on the princess dress. Yes, that is soooo confusing....:rotfl:

I really didn't like my hair trial when I went. I didn't end up loving my hair on the day of my wedding either. I got many compliments on it though...but I didn't think it really looked too much like the inspiration photos that I had given my stylist.
