Anyone hate their resort and switch after check in???

Not exactly a downgrade, but it was cheaper...

DH and I got engaged at the Yacht Club and were staying their our first two nights of that trip. We were supposed to switch to OKW studio because there wasn't space at our discounted rate at YC for the next night (we were CMs and the CM rate at OKW was cheaper than the regular rate at YC). Well, DH stopped at YC front desk and surprised me -- they had room to let us stay and extended our CM rate , which saved us, I think $60 per night for the last four nights. We splurged on a fireworks cruise and a painting of the beach where we got engaged with the extra cash!

We had reservations at CSR, and went through 2 different rooms... 1 was a non-smoking full of smoke, and the second was full of mold. We decided that we weren't going to be miserable on our vacation, so we went back to the front, and told the manager that we weren't happy, and wanted to cut our losses. He had us give him a list of resorts we'd like to switch to. We ended up getting AKL for a small upgrade fee (like $10-20/night), and when we arrived, we were upgraded for free from standard to Savannah view. We had a wonderful trip, and were glad that we switched right away.

yes, we were at the Poly concierge. really disliked it, alot!!! had them move us to the BWV, one bedroom. with an AP rate!!
