My mom did the bamboo last cruise. She really liked it. She would probably do it again, but honestly, she would do any massage. She really enjoys deep tissue.
I tried the Thai Herbal Poultice and it was far better than i ever expected. Better than the stone massage. The satchel of herbs they use smells very good and they give it too you to use in the shower in your stateroom.
DW had the bamboo massage. Loved it, loved it, loved it, booked it again for our upcoming Fantasy cruise in December. She's a spa regular, both on land and at sea, and said the bamboo massage was one of the best massages she's ever had.
I did a bamboo massage (not DCL, but I'm sure it was the same thing) recently on a cruise. It was absolutely fabulous! Go for it; it will be a relaxing addition to your vacation.

I'll Try. They wrap herbs in a mesh ball... sort of looks like an old time hot water bag..... They use this to massage you with and give it too you at the end. Then i was able to use it in the shower in our stateroom for the rest of the week.
