Anyone had soya milk in the DLH? (or other Disney hotels)?

I ask because my DD is on a dairy free diet at present as she is milk intolerant and I'm dairy free too as it looks like DD2 is the same and I'm feeding her myself.

I emailed Disney and they said it wouldn't be a problem getting soya milk at breakfast (with cereal) but didn't explain anymore? Do they have it there as a matter of course does anyone know?

Thanks for your help :thumbsup2

PS - If anyone reads this and recognises me asking about soya milk - it wasn't to do with the hotels but rather buying it at a supermarket as originally we were going to stay offsite... ;)

Yes i asked them this too... and they sent me a reply...in french...?? My son requires a dairy free diet too..will watch with interest!

I am lactose intolerant (nothing serious jsut real milk gives me a bad stomach) so have to have soya milk on my cereal. As I couldn't see it on my lsat trip I went down the ham roll route, but have been hoping DLH might have soya milk availible. :)

They do have soya milk available, they also have a wide range of dairy and other allergy free foods available for breakfasts in the hotels, you just have to request it, they dont have it there on a free for all.

Thanks for that. I need to give them our booking ref so I guess they are going to make a note (except we STILL haven't booked yet as I'm umming again!!).

Torsie - DD1 is the same really - she can tolerate cheese and odd bits in food but can't really tolerate milk or ice cream. However, we've been told to put her on a complete DF diet in the hope we can try her again in a year and see if she tolerates milk better... However, I think on holiday - although we can try, I think we'll just have to be 'sensible' and try and get soya for her cereal and no ice cream - the rest of the food I think we'll just see how it goes. She's not seriously ill with it but as she's only 3 it's hard explaining that it makes her ill (and tbh they allergen diet sheet they sent me with those 'allergen free' meals didn't really appeal to me nevermind a 3 yo!). :sad1:

I fear DD2 is even worse but at 5 months it's hard to tell yet :sad1:

Will let you know how we get on if we do stay in the DLH :thumbsup2

Good question. I'm intolerant to dairy and will be staying at Disney in a few weeks - nice to know I can request it for my breakfast :cool1:
