anyone had rooms 7580, 7582?

We have adjoining cabins 7580 and 7582 on the 7-day Eastern. Has anyone had either of those rooms before and if so, any comments? I was wondering if these are near the lifeboats and how the "view" is.

We weren't exactly in those rooms, Deb, but we were in 7548 just last week (oh, how I'd love to be there now . . .).

Anyway, you will be on the starboard side of the boat (on the right when you are facing the front of the ship), towards the back (aft). The 7500 rooms are starboard, the 7000 rooms are port. Numbers run from lowest in the front (forward) to higher in the back (aft).

In my opinion, the starboard side of the boat had the better views in the ports on the Eastern cruise.

As for the lifeboats, they are on Deck 4, so you will not see them from your deck.

Oh, and if you are interested, you'll be pretty close to the coin laundry as well. It is right across from room 7590.
