ANYONE had problems 2 Res at FW and tickets on 2 Res

I have had Reservations to Fort since last August 2014 for 2 weeks, last week in June and thru July 4th. I know it is not guaranteed but we asked for loop 100 in preferred . We usually wait until we arrive and buy the tickets but we went ahead and added them because of the fast pass.

Since my first main Res. we have added online an extra night on the front of Res. For some reason no one on the phone could add this night and suggested I try to online. I got it! It says preferred but I have no idea where. Are there more preferred than just near the boat dock? I didn't think so! But.... it is a very long Res # . But...now I'm thinking maybe I should have just arrived and stayed outside of Disney or waited and bought my tickets when I got there. Wonder where I'll end up or if it will mess up what I have already?

No one at Disney that I've talked to can combine the Res. I called the Fort and they said to call them 10 days before arrival. Will I have to wait on tickets until 2nd res. Someone on another forum said Guest services could add it. But if I understand correctly on the moms panel they say no you cannot add tickets until check in on 2nd res.

Now I have 2 sets of Magic Bands coming up online to fill out colors. Kids wanted certain colors. Will they send 2 sets now? Not sure if I should fill out both with different or for sure what they want on both.

My husband says leave well enough alone. Wait until we get there! They'll end up loosing our Reservations. LOL! It just keeps me from pre-planning as much as I would like to or could.

Deep breath, you'll be just fine! Do call back and ask for your reservation numbers to be linked - hang up (politely of course) if they don't know what you're talking about and call back and try again. It seems that some know how to do it and some don't. Do you have both sets of reservations linked to your My Disney Experience account? If not, do that as well, that's a big key.

Yes, you'll get two sets of magic bands - choose whatever colors you'd like! You'll be able to wear whichever of the two on whatever day you want. Magic bands were explained to me like this: they are like your debit card and your MDE account is like your bank account. You can have multiple cards all linked to the same account and they all can get money out and make purchases and your bank account gets money put in from different sources...likewise your magic bands will access all of your reservations and tickets that have been linked to your MDE account.

So your reservations are for the same level of site (Preferred), correct? You'll be able to stay on the same site, you just need to go to the desk on the second morning and check in again and tell them you want your same site.

How do I know all this? I had three different reservations over the Christmas week (and two different reservations for our Wine and Dine visit in November), so I had been living and breathing this stuff!

Just to be sure we answer the question of the tickets correctly, a couple of clarification questions:
You currently have a tickets included with your campsite as part of a package on your second reservation? And then your first reservation is a "room only" 1 night reservation? But you want to be able to use your tickets for the day of reservation 1? So, you want to use your tickets the day before you officially check in for reservation 2, right?

Yes, Deep Deep Breathes! Both reservations are showing up under my Experience.

Getting two sets of Bands are a Plus! LOL!

Both campsites are in preferred.

Whoever I've talked to at Disney have been very polite. I hope I have been in return. I try to be. LOL!

The last thing I'm trying to do is add extra days to my tickets so I can get the fast pass for those days too. I was told I didn't need to do that because I could do that when I arrived! LOL!

Well thing is I want to! I would like to get my fast pass for those days too! LOL!

You are correct. You can only get fp+ for the amount of days on your tickets. The CM is also correct, you can upgrade and add more days when you are there. But, I'm with you, I'd want the ability to reserve my fp+'s ahead of time and not wait. If you have a package, you should be able to change the days on your tickets especially since you aren't at your 45 day mark yet. If you have bought the tickets outright through Disney and not through a package, I'm not sure if you can add days now or not.

You also can start using your tickets up to 3 days before your package begins. You do need to go to guest services to get them activated. This means you can use the tickets attached to your second reservation before it starts. There is information about this on the theme park board.

The answer to all questions are Yes! On the very first reservation(which is the 2nd now) made it for 4 adults, 2 children, Saturday June 27, 2015 thru Saturday July 11, 2015 for a campsite plus 4 day tickets / hopper/ waterpark. Made a 2nd reservation (which is now 1st)for a day extra for Friday June 27 room only. I added the 2nd res online because whoever was helping me at Disney could not add the extra day for me. She said it just wouldn't take it. For me to try.

I've called Disney when staying at a hotel and didn't seem to be that big of deal to just call and they added the extra day with tickets plus dining for the extra day.
I was concerned about the use of the tickets on the first day because we may arrive early enough to use them, and my daughter and her children will be wanting to go.

Because of a family wedding that has been planned recently for July 11, I was trying to add a day in the front and let a couple days go at the end. I also, have tried to ask for extra days on my tickets and they would not add them. I was told by Disney that I didn't need to add those days and could do that when I arrived.

I didn't even try to explain by this time. But yes I would like to add the extra ticket days NOW so we can get the fast pass res early.I just don't think they wanted to fool with me by this time. I still have to call someone and add the days to the tickets and drop days on vacation. I dread it! LOL!

I don't mean to be ugly, but...In my opinion if Disney is going to add all those things for us to do, dining, fast pass at home, fast pass for BOG whatever then they need to update their workers with knowledge, and have a better website for it all to happen! LOL!

Ahh gotcha on the package tickets. We had separate tickets that we linked.

From my experience with our separate tickets, I'll tell you that we were able to make FP+ reservations for any of the days on any of the reservations but only for the amount of days for which we had admission. So in our case we had 5 days of admission and 6 days of vacation, and I was able to make FP+ reservations for us for 6 days within that 7 day period (we stayed out of the parks on Christmas day).

So based on my experience I'd guess that you'll be able to make FP+ reservations for as many days as is on that first reservation, starting on day one. I think...

ANd yeah, I totally agree. It seems like everyone answering the phones should be able to answer all of these questions, but they're not all filled in on the nuances.
