Anyone Had Any Luck Lately Getting Room Early?

I noticed that a couple of people mentioned Saturday. Is Saturday a big checkout day so that incoming guests have a better chance of getting in the room earlier than usual? Just curious.

DVC's biggest checkout day is Friday because of the higher points for Fri & Sat nights. However, it's more likely that there will be empty rooms on Friday night, which will give some people early check-in's on Saturday.

I think this is true. However, we also got into our Concierge Studio at AKV early on a Friday morning, well, it was 11AM in September. I hadn't bothered to do on line checkin for that.

We checked in at the BCV on Nov 21 @ 8 a.m. so we could get a KTTWC for our dining plan and asked if the room was available. The cast member siad "wait and I will see if there is a magical moment for you. Sure enough after a quick phone call we were in our room at 8:22 a.m. What a treat!! Thanks to "You" who was working at the front desk.

We checked into our 2 br at Kidani around 11:30 in September, and the room was ready. It was one of the new rooms added in September on the 3rd floor far down the hallway. My DSIL got to unrap the plastic from the hairdryer in her bathroom; we figure we were among the first to stay in the room.

Checked in today at 1:30pm... room was ready...Asked for SSR Grandstand, got The Paddocks. Oh well.

Checked into BWV today, room was ready when we arrived at 2:15pm.

Ah, makes sense. Maybe we'll have a little magical moment of our own when we arrive at 11am on Saturday March 6th.

We checked into SSR on Thursday at about 1:30 and our studio was ready. In August we checked into Kidani before noon and our studio was also ready for us. We did not use online check-in for either reservation.

We checked into a 2 bdr dedicated at BLT on 11/28 and it was ready when we got there around 2 pm, I think. Nice and high up on the 11th floor. Went out to DTD for a few hours and when we came back our luggage and groceries were waiting for us. Really pleased.
