Anyone Got Some Extra Pxie Dust?

As some of you may know, about a month ago both my inlaws were diagnosed with cancer. While MIL's situation seems to have some hope for a recovery, FIL was given a few months. Then last week, he was really bad, on a lot of pain killers and out of it. He then seemed to have a rally and was doing great. Wed they moved him out of the hospital to a rehab/nursing home. Because of a bloody nose yesterday(too much oxygen ) they sent him back to the hospital. This morning we got a call from the doctor at 7:30 saying FIL has blood in his lungs, his platelets are low and hes having a lot of trouble breathing. It looks like he could go this week, as soon as today. I cant believe how FAST this has happened. We are off to the hospital now.
So if you have any pixie dust to spare, we would appreciate it being sent our way. Thanks! And thanks for letting me vent too. it really does help.

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone. It really means a lot. We only stayed a short time at the hospital because FIL was tired and wanted to rest. He didnt look too good(gasping for breath even under the oxygen mask) but at least he was alert and knew we were there. He even talked a little. They basically said they are giving him morphine to keep him comfortable but they wont do anything else for him(his wishes). We plan to return to the hospital tonight when MIL and BIL and his family come down(they are all up in NH). So, until then we just hold our breath everytime the phone rings and hope for the best. Thanks again!
