Anyone gone waterskiing at Contemporary?

I'm looking for some feedback from anyone who has gone waterskiing at Sammy Duvall's Water Sports located at the Contemporary. The prices indicate they include five people. Would the boats be equipped with skis to fit everyone in our family. None of our kids have tried waterskiing before. Do you know how far in advance reservations would be needed? We are going in July, and I would prefer not to book in advance of our trip due to weather concerns. Any information would be appreciated.

Can't help with the contempory resort but our party of 4 went to to wilderness lodge 4 years ago & there was plenty of room. We had skis kneeboards & a wakeboard. Two of our party didn't ski but had a fab time in the sun & the music up load on the boat. Well worth the money.

Something else to try, if you haven't done it before, is rent the Water Mice.

They're a blast and it's cool to go zipping around the lagoon. I like going over to the Magic Kingdom area and watching the monorail and people go by.
