anyone gone to hair salon at BC

Am I right? Is there a hair salon at the beach club that does beach type braiding?? Anyone have experience with this shop...ideas...cost...any links/

I think my 2 DD are a little old for BBB thought this might be a better option

It's called perwigs and my dd had her hair braided a couple years ago, it didn't take long and they did a really nice job , we paid around 50.00 for the crown area of her head.

it is full beauty salon - so everything is offered.

you are having a 2 years child hair done.

in that case might go with mickey's barber shop at the MK - much more fun for her. they don't do alot here - just cut it - but they would put fairy dust in her hair. which I think she might enjoy.

Are there any other places that would braid. I know that hair wraps are available in a lot of places, but I want braids. It will be hot, and I am a pirate freak anyway, so for vacation and the pirate and princess party I wont have to worry about the hair.

We made an appt a couple days before we went. I think all hair salons in the resort like the GF do the braiding.It was a full service salon.

CSR, BC&Yc (really between them), Cr (2nd floor I think - might be 3rd), GF - above the 1st floor - not 2nd floor - but that area in between (don't remember what it is called)

Call before you go. we didn't need reservations - but finding one that was open and returned calls - very, very hard. It would help if they would tell you on the recording who was open. but they don't work that way.

so went to BC&YC, CR - before GF - which was open.

Rather than call the general Relaxed Yet number, I call the salon directly. If you're at WDW just touch Guest Services or something like that and ask to be connected to Periwigs if you want Y&BC, Ivy trellis for GF, etc.. during the hours they are open. Usually someone answers and will make an appointment for you. Sometimes there's a message to leave your room number...they're prompt in returning calls in my experience.

I have also called from home. Call the resort you're interested in and ask to be transferred.

I almost always make appointments ahead even if it is just later in the same day. Especially if they're doing weddings, they can be busy.

I've had my hair braided at Periwig's twice and it turned out really great. I've had a french braid twice at Ivy trellis and it turned out great both times.
