We can't imagine driving either. We always fly, but this time we decided to drive. We are staying at HoJos for the first time. I have some LGMHs left over from our WDW trip a couple of summers ago so I will have to bring them along. It seems like a lot of people from WA will be at "The Happiest Place on Earth". We have been to Disneyland when it has been crowded and are experts at using Hydro Guy's tips.

Of course, we are leaving on Friday and overnighting in Portland so we don't have to leave Saturday morning at the crack of dawn to catch our flight.

And we are staying at Hojo - one of the middle buildings (not sure which one yet). The "cheap" ones, LOL.

We are from Montesano, WA...about 40 minutes from the ocean...in between Olympia and Aberdeen. Think of us as we drive past you in Longview on our way to Disneyland. We are heading out of town Friday afternoon. We are up for a quick meet

We are staying at the HoJo too We are in building 1 with the Disney view. We got the Entertainment rate $79 a night.

You will probably fly over us as we are stuck in traffic just outside of LA

My son and I will be there from 4/1 to 4/4 and staying at PPH. We are from Ridgefield,
and would'nt mind a meet and greet.

Don't worry about the drive (other than it being long, it's pretty fun). The nice thing is down in Northern California, the people really getting moving and you can make great time. We did the drive from Longview in August. The first day we drove to Stockton (about 11 hours - long day) the second day it was only about a 6 hour drive. We hit traffic pretty heavy about 30 minutes from the park - so that was a little bit of a drag, but otherwise, smooth sailing.

In terms of meet and greet - I'm thinking just a quick get together, we all have our own schedules to keep. How does the 2nd look for everyone?

We are starting to think all of WA will be in Disneyland. We will be the ones with squinty eyes because it will be too bright for our poor sun-deprived faces. We don't really care how crowded it is...we just want to be in our "Happy Place" with some warmth
