If there is anyone due to fly to Orlando Sanford (or St Petersburg) this summer with the new flywho operator from Birmingham, we would advise double-checking your flight availability with them as, according to Sanford Airport, they have still not been given any idea of what planes they are going to be using (which, with a start-up date of July 29, is pretty ominous). We have had no reply to numerous emails to flywho about their operations, so I would have thought it is looking pretty unlikely this ambitious operation will get off the ground (for the 2nd time). Hopefully it is still being worked on, but I would have strong doubts about their ability to deliver the promised high-quality flights, twice a week to Sanford and once to St Pete's, as soon as the end of next month (even though their website still insists that is the start-up date).

Such a shame, but thanks for the heads-up. Flywho seems like a company determined to buck the trend, but I guess it can't be easy to get that sort of operation off the ground (in more ways than one).

Even though these people have failed to launch on two previous occasions there is always somebody daft enough to book. I was speaking to someone the other day who claimed to have booked and they have had their flights put back three weeks. They say they have had a 50% refund and that the actual aircraft (of whatever type) is due to turn up a few days before the new launch date :rotfl2: .

Wouldn't put any money on it myself but you never know.

Terry
