Anyone going to WDW in October

Just curious to see how many other people are going to "the world" in October. It's only 6 months away and I' so excited. I know it will go fast cause the summer usually does. We're going from October 11-18. Anyone else at that time?

We're planning on being there from the 9th until the 14th.

the 8th thru the 12 at the BCV and then till the 15th down the street at the convention center.

We will be there Oct 7-14. We are staying at OKW.

DH and I will be there Oct 10th-17th and we are staying at Dixie Landings (POR). Can't wait!!!

It's not definate but I would like to, we went last year and had a blast! Are you all planning to go to MNSSHP? It is definately worth every penny!

We'll be there from Oct. 26 to Nov. 4, camping at FW! It's going to be our longest WDW trip yet -- I can't wait!

We were there around the same time last year, and had such a great time (weather was nice, crowds were low, MNSSHP was great, etc.) that we decided to try to make our "annual" trip at the same time this year.

It's great to hear from all of you. Make sure you have something Lime Green so we can say "HI" to one another. We'll be four....DH, DS(7), DS(3, almost 4) and myself. We are staying off-site at the Marriott Cypress Harbour. 1st time with the kids. I'm very excited and these boards are the best. They really help. I love the trip reports.

Has anyone ever done the Richard Petty Experience? Our 10th year Wedding Anniversary will be in September and wanted to do that for my husband. He's a big race fan...#88. We were at Daytona for his 40th when Dale Ernhardt died.

We will be there the 12th through the 21st. We will be at OKW resort and will take in the Food & Wine Festival.
Our 1 yo dd will be with us.

We'll miss you by a few days but YES we will be there Oct 29-Nov 4.

StampMom...make sure your lime green ribbon is out...we're staying at Ft. Wilderness too!!! I plan to tie it to my truck antenna if we drive..otherwise I'll put it where I can!

We'd like to go but with my job situation as an unknown, I don't know. We will have to play it by ear and see. If we do go it will be around Halloween.

As the time gets closer we should try to set up a mini meet--maybe at a character meal. So all us Dis'ers and kiddo's can can say hi. BTW we always have a lime green ribbon on each of our stroller and I will have one on too.

I'm usually at "the other park" during Halloween Horror Nights, but I might be able to sneak over to WDW for a day.

My boyfriend and I will be there from Oct. 16-20, staying at BWV. Can't wait!

Hey Deena,

When it gets a little closer and we can make our PS, we'll see what's going on about the Character meeting. That sounds like fun. We're thinking about the Breakfastsauras in AK and Chef Mickey's for dinner one night. This is our first time with kids and I want to do everything!!!! But, I don't want to be tied down to PS all the time either. Especially since we're staying off-site.

I havent been in Oct but last Sept I made ps at Tony's at 2:15 for 3pm. With light crowds in the off season sometimes you dont even need ps. For a big group however I would make ps, like if we all met at CM on night. I went there with a huge crowd and it was a blast.
Barry our family will definetly be hitting HHN--probably going to give the VIP tour a go.

We'll be there from 10/16-10/26 either at WC or VWL
