Anyone going to Universal on May 21st?

I will be coming up on 5/21 for the Mummy's opening. Who else will be there? I'm going to see if I can do the AP preview then. I won't be staying onsite, so no magic keys for me. Maybe we can have a meet!

I would like to stay longer, but I got to go up to Atlanta on 5/22 for Six Flags Over Georgia and then to Pigeon Forge, TN for Dollywood to ride Thunderhead on 5/23. I'm not sure if I'm flying out or driving up yet. Airfare isn't too cheap from MCO to Atlanta. Plus, I would like to stop by Gainesville on te way to eat at Burrito Bros. If you've lived in Gainesville, you know why I want to stop!

I will be chaperoning a field trip to Epcot that day. So while I'll be in the Orlando area, I'll be hanging with the likes of Gary Sinese, Figment, and that woman who adds our car tests via computer.

I will be at the AP Preview May 21st from 8:00pm - midnight. Then the wife and I are going to Citywalk for some fun! I know there will be a lot of APs, but it is kind of nice they are only opening the park to us for once. Reminds me of what Disney used to do for their APs when a new ride was being opened.

Our family will be at USF on the 21st, even though I'm still waiting to get our invitations for the Mummy event. So I certainly hope we'll be at the evening event but one way or the other we'll be at USF as our kids are off from school for a professional day. I would very much like to attend a meet as I've never been to one! Name the place and we'll be a part of it. We're staying offsite this time also, so like Barry we won't have magic keys
We'll be down through Sunday the 23rd.

My daughter and I will be there. I still have not received an invitation for AP's Mummy preview though.
we're not staying onsite either. this is more of a Disney trip since they are having the flower and garden show concerts at EPCOT and STAR WARS weekends at MGM

We're in that Fri. a.m. to ride Mummy alot that day. Don't know how much riding can get done that nite during AP Preview tho.

I got confirmation for the AP event on 5/21 (even though my card said for 5/31 ). I'll be there for the event. I found cheap airfare from MCO to ATL, so I'll be flying out at around 5:30 am. Hmmm...if I stay until midnight and have an early flight out, I wonder where I can sleep? I'll probably end up sleeping in the car or wandering around the 24 hour Wal-Mart and then having breakfast at the 24 hour I-Hop. I can sleep on the plane.

And are they doing anything special for the Shrek 2 movie - it also opens that weekend.

Thanks DM - I figured they would not start until sometime in the summer, but just thought maybe they would do something special for the "Grand Opening" weekend.

I tried to use the link on the right hand side that says "Fireworks", but all I got was a "Detect Network Settings" screen. I am sure I have something set wrong in my technological ignorance, but could not get the easy answer.

So thanks again.
