Anyone going to the DDE for The Land on June 19?

I was wondering if anyone was going to this Disney Dining Experience? or if anyone has ever been if it was offered before?
I am wondering about the tour with an Epcot scientist around the greenhouse....if it is on the boat or actually on foot...it says a standing reception??

Your question's,if you are speaking of The Behind The Seed's Tour offered at The Land.It is a walking tour and very interesting,we've done it several time's.It has taken us 45 minutes to over a hour,depending on number of questions posed to guide.Our tour guides have always been intern's involved in the Disney college program.

I very much wish that I was...it'd be perfect for me, because I hope to work back in the greenhouse after I graduate. Unfortunately a friend is getting married that weekend and we have to go out of town.

I believe the OP is referring to the one time special event that's coming up . I just got my DDE newsletter yesterday and saw it in there.

You get a tour of the greenhouse and a dinner and I think you get a special spot to watch Illuminations

How does one get this DDE newsletter? My DH and I love to go to restaurants and would love to be a part of the Disney Dining Experience. Thanks, in advance, for any help.

DDE is only for Florida residents.

I would love to go, but I have too many other special Disney things planned. It sounds really great though, and I LOVE the Land (plus an Illuminations dessert buffet is always awesome). Oh well.

I'm going to try for the lunch at Artist Point, though. I'd wanted to give Artist Point a second try, and the luncheons are usually cheaper than the dinners.
