I may be going solo. Trying to talk some friends or family into going down, but so far no one's biting (they just don't get the same things as I do out of WDW).
Have you ever gone solo before? It is nice to just do what you want when you want. As nice as it is going with friends a solo trip from time to time is great. Also, as a solo it is easy to walk right into restaurants. Other then Boma when I go solo I usually don't do ADRs and have never had to wait longer then 15 minute to get a seat. Granted I didn't try Le Cellier at 5pm but never had a problem.
Vicky you are very welcome to hang out with Sally and I whenever you wnat to. It's her first disney trip so it will be all new to her and I want her to meet all my crazy Disney loving athletic friends.
We will be arriving on the Wed evening before the race weekend and departing the wed after. After the expo we are doing the Ohana's with some DisneyRunning folks and I'm sure you would be welcome, just let me know. The monday after we are doing the German Buffet for lunch with the DR folk and then wandering the epcot area and having drinks, your welcome to join us there also.
Tues is a free day for park fun so if you are still there then we can group with other stragglers and have a day of rides and shows.
I didn't realize that the Princess half was now in February ... hmm... Maybe I should just make the January trip shorter so I can do both. But you know what, it's the airfare that's a killer. I know you're going to say go to Buffalo - but it's not worth it if it's just me because I'd have to pay for the bus and then a hotel room.
I hope to do the Goofy eventually! Yes, the weather last year wasn't much better than the winter we had up north. Nice to see another Canuck on the boards! Welcome (in case it hasn't been already said)!
