Anyone going on the Wonder Oct 14, 2010?

Interesting about no CC party - wonder why? No time? It's sort of fun now that they "celebrate" it more -- it was fun in the old days, but then for a while it was a trivia game that spanned several rooms w/ monitors to fit everyone in & we didn't really go to that more than once...

But good to know we're not weird for focusing on advancing in CC levels!!!

You weird for wanting to upgrade your CC level....hahhaha....everyone I know, well all my DISer friends, overbooked cruises as soon as the tiered CC notice came out. Me and DH did the same thing. We were gold and we added 3 quickly to jump to platinum before sailing on the Dream maiden voyage in Jan 2011. We usually just do one cruise a year. In 2010 we will do three and in 2011 we will do four. The addiction grows....hahaha.

We are definitely signed up now & FE sounds fun to me. I'm not sure how it all gets magically organized, , but if anyone is less challenged in that area than me, maybe.........!

No one is doing a formal list yet....I have been picking up little things here and there for friends that we'll be sailing with on this cruise. I just thought that as I walk around the halls, I'll hand out things to anyone with a FE and keep it very informal. BUT if you would like to do a list, I would be happy to follow it.

Whenever I watch Disney Dreams (my favorite show on the cruise) I always cry when Peter & Mickey hug at the end because it's so rare to see them together.

Just wanted to say hi. I was wondering what people are doing before and after the cruise. We are at Old Key West starting the 11th then to the ship on the 14th then staying on for the sailing on the 17 then when the 21st rolls around we head back to Old Key West till the 27th.

We're doing 4 nights before 10/10 cruise....then this is our first B2B....we're excited. Then we do 5 nights after this cruise. We're doing all of our time at Staybridge Suites right next to Downtown Disney in Lake Buena Vista. We love the neighborhood. We stay off property with a car.

I'm excited because after this cruise we're doing the Food & Wine Fest with DISers from this cruise and some others. Then me and DH have Ohana, Wishes and Cinderella's Castle Princess Dinner booked this trip. So we have a lot to look forward to when we get off the boat. We won't have to feel so very sad.

I called DCL to find out our themed nights:

2nd night - Pirate night

3rd night - Optional Dress Up night


I don't think we're going to dress differently for these. Maybe just a black and white outfit on Pirate night and something comfortable and casual for Dress Up night. If it were a longer cruise, we might do it because we would need to pack more. For this cruise, we're keeping the packing light.

Ella. Sounds like a nice trip you have planed. I always go to 'Ohana. I will be there the Sat after our 4 night I think that is the 23rd. As far as the theme nights, I am not bringing dress clothes, just slacks for the evening. I don't do Pirate night for two reasons: One I just am tired of it. DCL really needs to change it out. Two, Johnny Deep really ruined my image of a Pirate. Because of his portrayal of Jack Sparow the only thing I can now tolerate is the ride. I will admit that the dinner menu on 4 night or longer cruises is a good menu.

Thanks for this. It's going to be fun to be doing a cruise that's so different this time. We've always had a formal night (2 in the old days) & DH is elated to not have to pack formal clothes (even though over the years our formal has gotten less "formal").

Hi all, we may be sailing on this cruise with you! We are going to wdw from oct 9-18, but are seriously thinking of adding in a 3 nt cruise during our stay, cancelling our dvc room and using our points for the cruise instead since its right in the middle of the trip.

anything going on this trip? anyone doing fish extenders? we did them last time and it was a blast! We should know by the end of this weekend if we are booked and what room we will be in.

It will be myself, DW, DS-19 and DD-15. This will be our 5th cruise on the Wonder. Im hoping our favorite server, Alex will be on board!

any info on a low price transfer service from wdw to port and port back to wdw? i hate to pay disney the 69 each rt fee!

Ok, we are confirmed on this cruise as of today! We will be in room 2037, can't wait to sail again!

We're going to MNSSHP on Tues the 12th, not sure about Wed - either Universal or DHS. Then Sunday when we get off the ship going to F&W at Epcot then back to work on Monday

that sounds like our plan! We arrive on sat the 9th, will do the parks and f & w, Tues night we go to MNSSHP, Thurs on the ship, Sunday back to wdw for the day, then fly home monday morning.
