Anyone Going in September???

Port Orleans Riverside Sept 13th-----18th
Contemporary Sept 19th-----23rd
Beach Club Sept 24th-----28th

We love to Resort Hop--seems like a different vacation each resort.

When are you going and where are you staying?

This should be an interesting trip. For the first time, ds(4) and I are leaving dh at home. We're traveling with 2 of my good friends instead (they're sisters!) We'll be staying at HRH Sept. 12-14, then moving over to BCV Sept.14-20. I can't wait!

We have our fingers and toes crossed that we can plan a trip for Sept. 17-24. Hoping to stay at the Contemporary!

We're going Sept 19-28 staying at Courtyard by Marriott (with that $20 a night deal). Can't wait--it's our first trip back since 1991!

We are going 9/12-9/21 all at BWV, 1bdrm. Also leaving in 6 days for OKW, DW is going out of her mind, like the commercial says " I'm to excited to sleep".

We plan to be there Sep. 18-24. The BIG pin event is scheduled for EPCOT Sept. 19-21--a 3 day event. Hope to attend again this year. 3rd year in a row. Lots of people at EPCOT that weekend.

we'll be there in Sept. too. Aug 31 1 night at OKW, Sept 1 1 night at AKL Conciere so we can do sunrise safari, Sept. 2-6 at the BW. I know it's allot of moving but to get to do the sunrise safari it should be worth it. Luckily we will be driving so I'll back an overnight bags for the first two nights and not unload everything till we get to BW. Maybe some of our pathes will cross.

So are we!

We'll be in the world Sept 21 - Oct 2.

First 8 night is at WL concierge and the last 3 nights will be at AKL concierge.

We'll be in our Wedding Ears! Hope you are too!

(the honeymoon is the only thing about this wedding that is 100% planned and ready to go! heheheh)

Let's see if I can explain this right.

It's on the 7th floor of the WL (5th of AKL)...all of the deluxe resorts have this. It's basically an added perk for guests...there is a lounge that will offer continental breakfasts in the morning, snacks throughouth the day, light appetizers near dinner time, and cordial/coffee/desserts at night. Also, included in this, is turndown service, and basically getting the royal treatment. The concierge staff can make "hard to get" PS's for you and generally arrange anything you'd like.

of course - this comes with a price. Not sure how much "extra" it is total...but I have heard of people upgrading to concierge at like $30-40 a night.

Not sure if i should be telling you this...cause i have my heart set on this (and you'll be there before us! heheh) - but there are 4 honeymoon rooms on the concierge level at the WL...king sized bed and whirlpool tub.

I've personally never stayed at WL or AKL and never seen the full benefits of concierge...but this is what I've learned on these boards. Hop over to the resort board and I'm sure you can find more info there.
