We just re-booked our trip yesterday in a package with the dining plan and will call on tuesday to add the code for free dining. We are checking in Sept 29-Oct 9. What an early christmas present!!!!! FREE DINING!!!! We were so jealous when people got that last year and now here we are. We are set now, we got the van and the food. Scooped up some good spending money when the dollar was high. Now just gotta wait 5 months and 29 days.........How many sleeps is that?????

Rob (Snowwhite's DH)

but not until Oct.15th, that's the only time I could get for my vacation. :sad2:

:cool1: Sounds great!! We (me mostly) are hoping for maybe Sept. 30 to Oct. 9. But I can't decide if I want POFQ or ASSp!! DH wants POFQ, but the difference in price would give us some great spending money. Oh well, right now this is just a dream.............hopefully it will come true!!

We'll be there. Sept. 24-27 at Vero Beach and then over to WDW till the 6 or 7. Staying at VWL. No free dining for us though :confused3. DVC members don't get it.

So funny we are doing the same days as you are. We also are not staying in Disney we have a pool home we own in EI and will behanging out there. Have fun.

Another trip :thumbsup2 :cool1: :cool1:

Free dining will be excellent. I am hoping for the Nightmare Before Christmas Halloween party to become more than a rumor then we will head back in October. If not I was thinking this might be a good time for DH and I to stay at the GF by ourselves in September.

Yep. Arriving Oct 9th for some turkey dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern. Gotta get our fix of MNSSHP too.

We're headed back to the Orlando area Oct 28th until about Nov 11 or so and we're staying at the Summer Bay Resort for 1 week and then the Calini Beach Club in Siesta Key for 1 week!  :sunny: :sunny:

What is the Nightmare before Christmas Halloween Party? We are going October 25 - Nov 8/ 06 and were hoping to go to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Whe ndo the parks start decorating for Christmas? I've been to Disney twice in Dec. I love the parks decked out!,but not the large crowds. I am just going for a quiet time of year this time.

I thought free dining only went until Sept 30th? We'll bet at Beach Club Villas Oct 1-4. Never heard of 'Nightmare Before Christmas Party' do you mean the Haunted Mansion/Nightmare overlay?

We will be there from Oct 1 to Oct 6 at BWV. No free dining for us... it's all good - we got it last year! Wouldn't be worth it to pay double the money for a Saturday stay to get the free dining...and thinking of it, I don't think we'd get it anyways since we are renting points!

Can't wait...

What!!???
Is free dining on this fall again?

When?

Where can I find more info?

I am so excited!!!

THanks!!

Hey Rob (Snowwhite's DH)!...excuse me, but weren't you just at WDW

Congrats on your new booking

We'll have to get together soon for a DIS meet

YES!! :cool1:  :cheer2:
October 8 to 21 and I can't wait. So excited that I don't even mind that we are taking the IL's and she's making me stay at 3 different places!! OKW, BWV and SSR here we come :woohoo:
Now I just need a good price on a flight from Buffalo!!

Right now it is on the "rumor and news" web site. But they say that Dinsey is kicking around the idea of adding a new Halloween party in the studios and it would be geared more toward teens. This would be held in the Studios theme park. The MNSSHP would continue in the MK.

Headed down on the 29th of September and leaving on the 10th of October! We'll have our Cnd Thanksgiving right in the heart of the magic! I'll be cooking turkey at the BWV!

Will be there Oct 14-22 in a two bedroom at OKW. No free dining as I am a DVC member but will purchase anyways as it works out to be a good deal. Used it last year and it was great.

See you there! Don't be afraid to say hi! We will be the ones with two kids! :rotfl:

Sorry I am just in a great mood this morning....... :teeth: :lmao:

We'll be there :) (Not that you know me from a hole in the ground, 'cause this is my first post)

I'm so excited....this is going to be our (well, mine and the kids') dream vacation...9 days (Sept 30-Oct 9th) at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Just got my PS for Cinderella's Royal Table October 3rd at 8:10 am. I was shocked...this was just going to be my practice run this morning..didn't call until 7:15, but got a seating no problem! My DD (will be 4yrs old) will be so thrilled. Last year for her birthday we went to the Princess dinner at Norway, and it was wonderful (after a rough start..can you believe that Idiot Mom (tm) mixed up the Akershus and Marakesh? Long, long, awful story)

Hubby is less thrilled. He's not a big Disney fan, but is slowly bending. The AKL intrigues him. We debated the entire year, but October won him over...still hot but not too hot, price is right, crowds are low, piggy back on a school holiday. Because he is less than thrilled, I am trying to make this The Perfect Vacation. He stayed at the Coronado Springs for business last month and Hated Hated Hated it, so I'm a little worried, but I think the AKL will be good for him. He loves taking pictures of animals, so what could be better? And to find out this morning that we'll be able to take advantage of the free dining...Ka-Ching!

Now just need to score MNSSHP tickets, and start working on costumes.

Hi ho, hi ho....

Cyn

I'm DVC member too, but taking my sister (no kids, no hubbies) Sept 25-29, and we booked with free dining :yay: since I'm not staying at DVC resort - we can actually eat out and enjoy - already made all my dinner reservations - so excited!!!
