Anyone going during Easter Week?

I am in NE Ohio too, driving down 3/26, arriving at ASMu 3/27 Easter Morning. We are eating at EPCOT (Chefs). We are going to the parks each day, and on 4/2 we will hit the parks for a few hours, then leave to start driving home. We will not be staying in any hotels, we are just DRIVING. It'll be much easier to NOT have the 4 kids awake for half of the drive!
-------------------

Were doing the same thing.....driving straight through! The kids sleep through a big chunk of it and that way there are less questions of "Are we there yet?"! :rotfl:

What, is there a Dis convention at the ASMu, Stitchfans? lol. See my post above, I am driving from there also on 3/26, arriving at ASMu 3/27. I will be PM-ing you back!

How many have successfully completed that kind of drive? We are driving through the night if at all possible. So the kids can sleep for half of the drive. I will be night-driving since DH falls asleep at wheel at night.

We are eating at the Cape May Cafe. I've never been there before, does anyone know how the food is? I know they will be having a special Easter menu. The last time we went to WDW during Easter (2001), we ate at Hollywood & Vine, and it was nothing really special.

We will be arriving on March 27at POR and are also eating at Cape May...if you happen to find out what 'holiday fare' is please let me know. I have even called dining and they listed the normal menu!

WE made no PS for Easter. Will just catch a bite wherever. Last time we did EPCOT on Easter Sunday and it was great!@ That's the plan again, after seeing what the Easter Bunny has left us!

I won't be there for Easter Sunday...but will be there March 29- April 2! Just a quick getaway from this dreary winter.

The 19th can't come soon enough. We're flying into Jacksonville will be in that area a few days. The 23rd we checkin to WL villas. We checkin to OKW Easter Sunday till 4/1. Easter Dinner will be at Portabello Yacht Club. 15 of us at 2:30. I don't care how crowded the parks are as long as the weather is warm!!!

We're driving down, arriving at the Contemporary on the 24th. Easter breakfast will be at Chef Mickeys... but Easter dinner will be on the Mariner of the Seas!

Is anyone packed yet? I'm starting to pack this weekend, since with the weather were having here, its unlikely will be wearing shorts anytime soon! :rotfl: :cloud9:

We cant wait. We will be at POR from 24-28th and having easter brunch at the yacht club. I put a small suitcase on the floor last night to just throw things in to start the packing. I cant wait to get out of this cold :cold:

I"ve been packed for a while now. Just need to put "personal" items in the suitcase (toothbrush, so on) In a recent post I asked if anyone ever arrived real late at night. Has anyone? We will arrive approx 11:30 P.M. Does anyone think that will delay our room? And is there anything open if my family is hungry? Like I said no doubt all I will want to do is go to sleep.

We are driving from Illinois on March 25th, with our arrival at the WL on March 26th. We are eating Easter Dinner at Boma's.

14 days to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:cool1: :flower: :sunny: :goodvibes :earsgirl: :) :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :wave2:

We arrived after 11 our last trip. Not a problem. Where are you staying? We were staying at Swan - we checked in and then went to Tubby's for a snack - they are open 24 hours. No problem with our room either - we had emailed them ahead of time to let them know we would be getting there late and our room was just what we had expected.
Have a great trip! :cool1:

Less then 2 weeks here...can't wait...cold weather has just to be to much!!!

Don't have any official PS for Easter but Papa john's sounds really good.. :cool1:

This weekend I will officially start nagging everybody to get the warm weather stuff together..

We're flying out of Detroit Metro on the 24th and will (hopefully) be enjoying some fabulous weather when we get there. We went last Easter and didn't think it was that bad, but it was our first trip in about 15 years and the first for our DD. She was so excited :cool1:

Any ideas for Easter dining? or other tips for the week?

Wow - quiet a few of us leaving on Thursday 3/24

We have a 6:00 am flight out of JFK on Thursday, 3/24 - we will be in Jupiter til Mon. morning and then we will drive to WDW. Plan is to check-in at the BWV and head over to FW for our 2:30 appt. (horseback riding). Then dinner DTD or one of the resorts. DH and DS will be flying home early Tues. and my dd and I will stay til Thurs. We plan on meeting my brother and his family for the next two days - MK on Tuesday and not sure which park on Wed. Perhaps hang out by the pool Thurs. am til ready for our flight home that afternoon.

We definitely are in need of some warm weather. Just started to buy a few things for my growing daughter (taller by the minute :) ).

Perhaps next week we wil start getting out some warm clothes.

Thank you for answering my post famcruisefun. We are staying at All Star Music. Needless to say there is nothing close by it and we will be using Disney transportation. My guess is we will have to use a vending machine if they have one. Hopefully there is one, I don't remember.

Whats everyone packing? Is mid to upper 70's hot in florida? :confused3 I know I'll take a sweatshirt for the mornings and nites. :Pinkbounc

The week before Eatser... get there on 3/18 and leave on the 25th.

Getting to where we don't even care about crowds... went once in October (virtually no crowds) and I think our bst trip was last year during spring brek when it was very, very crowded.
