...because we'll be there on the 19th :cool1: and from the sound of things, the lines will be long. I think we're the only ones who have never Easter'd at Disney - good luck to all!

Never been to WDW over Easter either. We will be there March 19-27.

Crowd predictions anyone? Are we in big trouble?

Our Easter plans include breakfast at Boatwrights (POR) and a Wishes Cruise (shhhh the kids don't know about that yet, it's a surprise, oh and my father aka bean spiller, he doesn't know yet either :-P) :grouphug:

Still not ready to quite yet, but definitely Looking forward to making great memories, and some warm weather!!!! :sunny:

We're flying on a 7:15 AM out of Hartford on 3/22. No park plans on arrival day -- If all goes well, we'll be swimming at the Poly. by 11 on 3/22.

Next day is my big 4-0, and we'll be taking the kids to MK in the AM (their 1st time!, my b-day, 1st park day -- How could we not go to the MK??) and MGM later -- H&V Fantasmic Dinner (5 PM) and 7:30 show.

Flying home 3/28 and have a 4 day hopper, so we'll probably hit MK 3 mornings, AK 1 morning, and PMs at Epcot and MGM. LOVE those late night hours, but with the kids, we'll probably be morning folks. If we find that getting to MK at 7:30/7:45 AM is still too crowded, guess we'll try making it there for 7 AM opening, but, yikes, concierge opens at 7 and we would like to at least eat breakfast each morning.

My 1st Easter but we're very psyched that so many of you will be there to share in my b-day trip!!! THANKS!!!

Since it's just the two of us and we won't be hitting the parks on that day (our first day) we're treating ourselves!

We've been at Easter before and it's crowded! From the looks of SWA's flights the week before and after Easter it seems everyone is flying on SWA! I've watched the seats just disappear each day.

We had 70 degrees this past Monday and snow on Tuesday with more snow predicted tomorrow so we're more than ready for that sunshine and Vitamin D!

Lebjwb: From all I've read on these boards - it is going to be byond crowded. That will be ok -- we are in the Northeast and anyplace warm is fine with us. We've just made PS for the places that are important to us (part of the Disney experience for us is our favorite eating spots) and have scaled back expectations for what we will get to do.
Now I'm working on putting in my sunshine and warmth orders - not sure which number to call - what department is in charge of that? I hope it's not as hard to get a weather request through as it is to get a PS to eat with the princesses. How are the CM's in the weather department?

We'll be checking into OKW on Easter Sunday, after staying with relatives! We are so excited! We've been this particular week before, and it WILL be crowded. MGM will be hard to walk on the street, as I recall. We plan on doing AK after checking in and getting to bed early to get an early start on Monday! No particular dinner plans that evening.

DD and I are leaving St. Louis 3/24 at 7:10 am! Staying till 3/30. Have never been in a busy time before. We're soooo needing a get away as we moved to St. Louis from Denver in January. What a change. We miss Denver so bad but least we have a 2nd home in WDW!

Easter is going to be real relaxed day. We'll sleep in and maybe go to DTD and see a movie. Have 7pm PS for Chef Mickeys and then afterward, will go to MGM for EMH!

The really, really exciting time will come Saturday. My DD (11) has no idea that I've bought tickets to see Maroon 5 that night at the Silver Spurs arena in Kissimmee! I just can't imagine her reaction. We have PS that Sat morning at 9-Donalds in AK and I'm going to either leave an easter egg on her plate with a print of the advertisement or ask a CM to have Mickey or a character give her the Easter Egg. If anyone wants to see a young girl go to pieces, be there!

This is going to be the best trip EVER!!!

Thanks for the heads up. I keep telling myself that the week before Easter will be slightly less crowded then the week after. Yea right!

Like you said, at least we'll be out of the NE and at Disney! Have a great time!

I haven't started packing yet, but I'm definitely going to pack some shorts!!! Checked the weather and it looks like it will be in the mid to late 70's which is a lot warmer than here (in the 20's only)! :cold:

I am in NE Ohio too, driving down 3/26, arriving at ASMu 3/27 Easter Morning. We are eating at EPCOT (Chefs). We are going to the parks each day, and on 4/2 we will hit the parks for a few hours, then leave to start driving home. We will not be staying in any hotels, we are just DRIVING. It'll be much easier to NOT have the 4 kids awake for half of the drive!

And Are you ready???? :cheer2:

I'm so excited! Yet packing for 6 and figuring out what we ALL need is becoming a little overwhelming! Can't wait!!

We're going from March 22 - March 28. It's my fourth Disney vacation, and my first time staying at the CBR. My boyfriend and I are so excited, it's our first big vacation together and we're acting like we're children, making itineraries and listing all of the possible rides and attractions that we cannot miss. We even got PS for all of our breakfasts and dinners way in advance! Very excited. Have a great time to everyone who is going!

AKL for us. March 25. Where is everyone having Easter dinner?

We are eating at the Cape May Cafe. I've never been there before, does anyone know how the food is? I know they will be having a special Easter menu. The last time we went to WDW during Easter (2001), we ate at Hollywood & Vine, and it was nothing really special.

We'll be there Mar. 26 - April 3rd !!!! Our first Easter/spring break trip there!
Can't wait, can't wait!! :cool1:
Also would like to know other's plans for the day on Easter. What are you doing?? :earsgirl:

Easter is our last full day there (we have a 9:30pm flight the next day, and we want to spend the whole time at MK, so we're going to cram whatever we can onto Easter), so the plan is to have breakfast at Whispering Canyon (we have PS for 8:30am), then go shopping at DTD, go to Epcot for a couple of hours, then eat dinner at Cape May Cafe (we have PS for 5:30), and then go to MGM and stay there until they close, since they have EMH that evening. I hope we are not overdoing ourselves!

We are coming in on Easter, staying at POR. We plan to be very casual very dinner that day since we will be up so early (6:45 flight). We are staying through the 31st

We will be arriving very late on Good Friday. Our plane is suppose to arrive in Orlando around 10 p.m. I speculate we will arrive at ASM around 11:30. Does anyone think that will pose any problems? All I want to do is get into our room and fall into bed. My family might want something to eat and I wonder if there will be any place to get something to eat? Easter Sunday all I planned was a ressie for a brunch at Chef Mickey's at 12:30. I guess we will have to grab some counter food much later. At first I was real nervous about the crowds but I figured we will just "go with the crowds"
At first I had thought about bringing a bunch of plastic eggs filled with candies since ASM isn't doing anything special for the holiday, buy then thought it wasn't a good idea afterall cause no doubt there will be tons of children and I would feel real bad if a bunch was left out cause there wasn't enough to go around. (my luck after all that hiding, my daughter didn't get one) :earseek: bad idea? any suggestions? any comments?
