Just thought I would pop in to say that we received our cruise docs today!

17 more days until we sail!!

...and I was worried about that. I called tne travel people and they said if I didn't get them by this Friday they'd rush them to me...so I told them I'd definitely call them!

ALSO...

For those of you taking bets, I had my nursing final today, the average score was 76 and we have to average 75 on all of our exams, without any rounding, or else we fail.

I got a B and I got a B for the semester. SO...

I AM NOW A NURSE.

I get pinned next week.

Gotta study for another exam for tomorrow.....

Yeah, Swoos, I got the cruise tickets , the registration forms, and there were tags for luggage and flyers on different packages for having your stateroom decorated for Christmas and stuff. Tips on what to pack. A bunch of stuff like that.

Were you able to get the Palo reservations for us all on Saturday? Or were you planning to wait until we board the ship?

Well, I went online and tried to make a PALO reservation and for some reason unknown to me, when I tried to make a reservation for 3 on Sat night it gave me reservations for 2 on Thurs night. So I tried to change it several times to no avail so I will try again , if not we can go to Deck 3 as soon as we get to the ship and resechedule our reservations together. I also tried to make other reservations and could not, it was wierd. I do have a pedicure appt for Fri I think. I signed up my hubby and 11 yr old daughter, Dallas for para-sailing for Castaway Cay. Me and 10 yr old daughter,Yasmin won't be going, because I have been before, I mean I live on the Gulf of Mexico and Yasmin doesn't weight enough to go so we thought we would go for a bike ride or rent one of those small cheap boats for awhile..then go back on the ship. We did not pay for a Bahama excursion because its so expensive and we just want to explore and were going to WDW for 4 days after the cruise.
I forgot to ask you, what cat are you two staying in? Were staying in cat 4 with a veranda, it looks really nice.
I still have my pin and nursing cap when I graduated. I wear a minnie mouse nurse disney pin attached to my badge at work.

I just figured out whats going on...I would have to cancel my reservation to make a new one..Im worried about that because what if I do that and I cannot make another one? I think when we get to the ship we should just go together and make our reservation and then cancel the other two at the sametime that way just in case we do not have to lose our reservation. Worse case scenario. I will go with my husband on Friday and I can go with you when you go...lol!! Won't bother me a bit to go twice hahaha! Oh yeah I am getting a pedicure on Sat from 4pm-450pm...your welcome to join me...

OK that's a great idea, since I already have a reservation for two for Saturday night, it might be a easier to just see if they'll add one to it, rather than you losing yours for the other night. I think that's smart, maybe they gave you the other one because that was the only time left! I'd hate for you to lose that.

I thought about just exploring around Nassau but I don't know if I'll ever get back with my boy, so I splurged and paid an enormous amount of money to do the Dolphin Swim with him. I felt it was just a once in a lifetime thing. I just have to find my own way to the dock by 10 am since I didn't book it thru Disney (because that isn't possible). I think we'll be back in mid afternoon though. I just don't know precisely when. I tried to talk my kid into the parasailing but he would not go for it, so I gave up. Maybe another time when he's a little older.

The pedicure sounds fun though. I need to check that out, that's Castaway day, right? When are we supposed to be back on board the ship on that day? I didn't book anything on Castaway I thought we'd just play that by ear. Do you know off hand how much the pedicures are? Have you had one before onboard? Do they paint little mouse ears on your toes? Thanks for the invite, maybe I WILL join you!!

We are booked on category 12, so we're on a way lower deck than you are. We upgraded at the resort though, and we're in the resort FIRST and THEN the cruise because we went ahead and did the land n sea thing. It's our very first WDW/Cruise.

I am WAY excited for this vacation!

Technically on either Nassau and Castaway Cay we don't have to leave the ship because they will still have activities all day , so thats why were probably only gonna do half days because I want to make sure I do a lot on the ship since its only a 3 day cruise. And in December the water is gonna be way cold.
I will have to have you and your son come over for room service breakfast if you want so you can eat on the verandah, or at least come by and check it out. It should be pretty cool.
Yeah I actually downgraded from a nice moderate to a value resort to save money..lol.
The 55 min pedicure is $55, they massage your feet and you will have access to the Rain Forest Room...go to the Disney Cruise website to read about it.
Have fun in nursing school, enjoy the last days...I love what I do, being a nurse is very rewarding.

I was worried about the water, but I think it was scuba diver who said it was in the 70s, and they have wetsuits, so I went for it. Eh, it might be cold but I'll deal with it. It's once in a lifetime!

The verandah breakfast sounds great! We'll have to do that. I'll have to check out the pedicure thingie and the rainforest thing on the website.

Got my boy a santa hat with a snowman face on it yesterday, it's really cute. Maybe we'll both have santa hats on when we board the ship!

Gotta get our tree up today, and I need to get everything wrapped and ready this week! Busy, busy. Making cookies. Sang in the church Christmas Concert yesterday, I love doing that!

I found out someplace that there was a movie theatre onboard and they show movies that haven't been released yet, does anyone know how to find out what the movies will be?

I remember reading that if a new Disney movie is premiering that week or month? then they will show it...like when Pirates of the Caribbean premiered they had a big screening and Pirate party for it....I will have to go to Disney.com and see what new movies will be showing then....

What movies will be playing on our voyage? You can call 888-325-2500, choose the reservations option, then ask what movies will be showing the week you cruise.

They are closed right now, or I would have posted them for you...And yes, when Disney releases a new movie, it is shown on the Magic.....Not sure about the Wonder as there is not a "movie night" on the main stage.....might be, just not sure.
