anyone going 10/12 week??

Yes!!!:cool1: :cool1:
We arrive around 3 p.m. on Friday afternoon, Oct. 12th. We're not staying long. It's a quick trip for our 32nd Anniversary:hug: .
We only get Friday night, Sat., Sun., and Monday till about 3 pm., but we're going to use every minute for fun in Mickey Mouse land!!!
Yeah!
I don't think it should be crowded, do you? This is all the time we could squeeze in, because I teach school, and this is conference time. We have no school on Friday, so we're using that day to fly to Orlando. Then I took my "Personal Day" to fly back home on Monday.
Can't wait!

We arrive MCO @ 159P on 10/12, and should be @ Pop by 3 on DME, and transferring to Epcot by 4 for Nine Dragons dinner @ 6.

We leave the following Sat 10/20 @ 5P.

SOOOOO looking forward to this. Hard to focus on anything else right now.

How is your packing coming along? Ours is fairly well put together at this point, just need to put it into the suitcases in an organized manner.
Got it down to 2 cases with extra room in each. Pretty pink (raspberry color), should stand out, especially with the LGMH!

:woohoo: :cool1:

I am just now making my packing piles. Can't find DD's swimsuit:headache: !!
We have conferences that week too. I dont feel bad taking them out of school because they have 2hrs of school mon and tues., a full day wed, another short day thurs., and no school friday. WTH?(heck) Besides, I think family time is way more important that a few half days. We are also celebrating DD's 14th bday there! Small world!

Thats funny. We have conferences Wed evening 10/10 because I have a commitment on Thursday.
Incidentally, I wont get home from until 1130, and with a 230A wakeup call for the 6A flight, means Dad sleeps on the plane cuz he aint goin to bed for 2-3 hours just to wake up grumpy and miserable. :lmao:

He has Friday and the whole nest week off, fall break (transition from 1st to 2nd quarter), so no time off school.

What does your itenerary look like? I know there is a group meeting up @ Pop ~930P on 10/17.

Hopefully we will run into ya! :thumbsup2

Our conferences run like this: Normal school on Wed., then conferences 4-8, Then on Thursday no school at all, but conferences from Noon-8, Then Friday no school at all so we fly out at 6 a.m. which is fine with me, because the earlier the better! The students come back on Monday for school, but I'll still be in Epcot or MGM for my personal day and then fly back to be back to teach by Tuesday.

I like you Rasberry Pink colors for standing out. We have bright orange ribbons on our suitcases to stand out. But since we're traveling such a short time, we're going to try to pack everything into carry-ons, so we won't have to wait for the baggage claim. That means no little scissors that I like to carry though. We're going to have to stop at Walgreen's when we reach Orlando. Anyone know if I can carry tweezers or a little disposable bic razor in my carry-on?
Thanks,

We will be there 10/12 - 10/19. We are staying at OKW. My son has conferences on 18th and 19th, so he only has to miss 3 days of school for us to be there a whole week. Anybody know how the crowds are around that time?

Me, my mom and dad will be at POR October 13-19. I plan on decorating our window, so look for us. I found some really fun Halloween window clings, and the bats are even lime green!

These next two weeks are going to go by so slow!:headache:

The crowds seem to get worse every October............... I guess the word got out. The temps are usually pretty good. We enjoy the MNSSHP alot!
