We went to Epcot today and boy was it busy and crowded! Much more crowded than the week we went in late February - early March.

At one point, the fast pass line for Living with the Land extended through the Sunshine Seasons to the end of the seating area next to Soarin! I couldn't believe how long it was! Figment had a standby time of 30 minutes!

The week after Thanksgiving is no longer a time to go to Disney.....

We were there today too, them hoped to MK. We are used to summer crowds and have gone to Disney the last 4 Thanksgivings. R seemed a lot more crowded this year. At one point in the day Small World was at a 50 minute wait!

I agree it was crazy went to get on the Land and it had a 50 minute wait

First off, Mondays are busy at MK. We were at Epcot today too. Busy? Yes, but it didn't seem too unusual. We did TT at RD, then we're able to go over to Soarin right after with a 10 min wait. We were also able to get a 4th FP after our 3 were done for TT. And at that time Soarin was also available for a 4th FP. The only thing we didn't do was Frozen as our kids werent into waiting 45 min for it. Other than that, everything accomplished. We go the week after Thanksgiving every other year, and it seemed right in line with other years.

We just got back to hotel --- yep, pretty crowded --- went to see NPH at the CP -- last two rows only for standby line --- one thing that our entire line ( standby started forming at 11:30 am !!) started discussing was the amazing lack of holiday decorations at the park --- the instrumental piped in holiday music that you can hardly hear--- and really, other than the Mexican pavillion, hardly any lights up at all !! I think I got spoiled by SeaWorld !

Was there today at Epcot, crowds were 1/2 what they were this past Friday. I mean it clearly wasn't empty, but felt manageable to me. I have never been this week before, so have been hoping for the best...

I was at Epcot and Magic Kingdom today. I am fortunate that this is the first year we've had an annual pass, so I was not concerned about getting on "every ride". We visited last March and will return early February. Anything with a line, I'll save for the next trip.

I enjoyed the holiday food kiosks and the entertainment.

I very much enjoyed early December visits 2008, 2010 and 2012. I was really looking forward to holiday music and decorations. Either they were different in my memory or there isn't as much. I'm disappointed in Disney's Christmas and holidays this year.

Sad to read this. We our focusing our trip next week on the holiday celebrations in Epcot.

I'm assuming no wristbands at the standby line for CP this year? I go tomorrow, of course it'll be 85 degrees. Need to get into the 6:45pm show so I'll also join the line super early

Nope. No wristbands :((

I was at Epcot yesterday and was surprised to see how long some of the lines were. Think I saw Nemo & friends up at 50 mins at one point.

@garada3 You can get all the up to France on the UK side pre-world showcase opening and check out the decorations up that side. It was really quiet and could hear all the Christmas music.

I'm at MK today and it's the busiest I've seen on a party day!

Looked at abbreviations post. I see that CP stands for Crystal Palace or Candlelight Processional but NPH is not listed. What is NPH?

We were at Epcot yesterday and thought it was dang near empty. I got a FP for TT at 3:50 about 1:00 in the afternoon.
Oh, and we used our FP for FEA at about 11:45 and the wait was 55 min. I found that to be pretty low for FEA.

I gotta tell you what I saw yesterday, I thought these folks were NUTS!
We got to WS area about noon. Folks were already in the standby area. Not too many but a few. Walked by about 3:00 and the line had grown by quite a bit and folks where already lined up in the Dining Package area too. I know how popular NPH is but man, that is a lot of time to devote to waiting in line

This discussion is about Candlelight Processional and Neil Patrick Harris is the narrator at the moment (they vary)

The only reason I wait for hours and hours is because my kids sing in the choir. Tomorrow my DD16 is singing so I have no choice but to wait. Like I said I don't mind, I've done it for the past 7 yeast but my parents are older and can't wait that long, I wish they would bring the wristbands back

You mean ya'll don't get any passes to see your kids? That stinks

No, only the choir director gets seats. And the people that chaperone have to be with them until 30 minutes before performance so they have no chance

We were at Epcot yesterday too! I actually thought it seemed pretty empty; we walked onto Living with the Land at about 1.30pm, then walked onto Nemo right after.

We had two really crappy Cast Member experiences that left me grumpy all day, but saw the 8.15pm CP show and that made up for it - I love that show! I feel like Christmas hasn't started until I see it!
