Anyone getting deals on good neighbor hotels?

Going on a cruise out of Long Beach and since we're down there we're going to hit the parks.

Any good deals out there on for Best Western PPI or Carousel, or other walking distance ones?

We have stayed at the Park Inn, Candy Cane Inn and Howard Johnsons. We liked all of them, thought they were reasonably priced and they are all within easy walking distance. We got the best rate on the HoJo but while we liked it, we would rather spend a few more dollars on the Candy Cane....they have a very good shuttle too, in case you are just too tired to take one more step! PPI falls somewhere in the middle, IMO, but their suite is a good deal if you have a number of people to accomodate.
