Anyone get this new pin code....Missing out would be Goofy..

I just called about our pin with Goofy on it, 4 days w/Free Dining for $617.

Found out you can extend it up to 14 days. You may upgrade to a deluxe resort and still get the free dining. The $617 is per adult for 2 adults at a moderate. We only have to pay for the theme park tickets for our two 16-yr-old boys staying in the same room.

We added one day to it, to make it five days, starting the 21st of November, going to Thanksgiving day, the 26th.

Here's how ours priced out for 5 days, 2 adults, 2 teens, 6-day no hoppers, no insurance, free dining:

Moderate (CSR) standard view - $2,130.58
Moderate (CSR) water view - $2,271.28

Deluxe (BWI or YC) standard view - $3,323.12
Deluxe (BWI) water view - $3,885.62
Deluxe (YC) water view - $3,801.24

Here's my adult son and his wife's room, same scenario only with 2 adults, no children:

Moderate (CSR) standard view - $1,549.02
Moderate (CSR) water view - $1,689.72

Deluxe (BWI or YC) standard view - $2,741.56
Deluxe (BWI) water view - $3.304.06
Deluxe (YC) water view - $3.219.69

hmmm, I got the dining code and asked if I could upgrade it to regular dining at the POP. I was told that it could not be upgraded because the regular dining is being offered through the mods. Bummer, because I don't want to eat CS all day long!

I got the the OR offer -- kids 3-9 stay free of the adult 4 days/4night offer save $94

I got the same two offers. Each one had its own separate PIN code. We have already booked a trip with the 40% resort PIN we received earlier this year.

Me too it's a bummer!

The pin code I recieved in my Goofy promo e-mail belonged to someone elses name, noone from my household. Anyway, I had to talk to guest services and send a fax copy of my e-mail and Disney honored the e-mail; even though, there was a mistake it seems.

In talking with guest services while they worked through my particular problem, she stated there are 5 different package versions associated with this Goofy promo. It seems whatever your promo is of the 5 different ones involved in that e-mail it's good for the later dates, too in late Nov. and part of Dec.

I booked free QS at POP from 11-30 to 12-10.

I just called myself and referenced my reservation with free QS and I was told I could uprgrade for the price difference between the packages, if I wanted to go to the plus dining plan. It's like $10/day per adult to do the upgrade to plus dining.

I would call again and make it extremely clear that you are willing to pay OOP (assuming you are willing, here) the cost upcharge to go from free QS to the plus dining meal package. The CM may have thought you wanted the plus dining for free at a value reosrt and that's not the offer; so, the CM would say no in that case. If you wanted plus dining for free, you would have to do a mod or a deluxe. I can't see Disney refusing more money if you are offering to pay the price difference between the meal packages; so, I believe you can do this based on my recent phone call to Disney.

It's worth a try to call back and try again.

I received the 4 nt, 3 free goofy pin, my husband received the pins for you choose your deal - 4 nt age 3-9 stay play & eat free or the 4nt accommodations plus tickets. I guess the pin fairy really loves us! I called and the cm says my deal works out the best. We got 7 nights, for 2 adults, dd-7 and dd-11 , I upgraded to disney dining and park hoppers, at CBR , standard view for $2794.96. Regular rate online for this package was $3419.94, so that is a savings of $624.98. This is still not as good as the deal we got last year, but I'm still thrilled to have any discount. I hope you all get a good deal too!

Sounds like the one that includes Dining is the better deal. Course I didn't get it. LOL.

Oh well.

Trish
Ok, I must admit I am at a loss for how to compare rates! Your post has me intrigued... you mentioned that the one the includes dining is the better deal - that's the pin I got. 4 nights at a value with Free QS dining for $472/adult.

But, what I don't understand is that you got 4 nights for $377 without dining. If you add on the cost of QS dining ($29, right?) that brings the total up to $406 compared to $472. That seems like a better deal to me??

I know I must be missing something. I'm only asking because I want to learn...:goodvibes

Has anyone who received the buy 5/2 free deluxe resort booked any other deluxe (not Wilderness Lodge or AKL)? I'm curious if the deal would apply to other deluxes given the pin only states those two.

I haven't had a chance to call yet but dh is really trying to convince me to change our August trip (he'd rather go during the fall or winter).

calling to see if the 4 night/4 day deal is worth it. Did anyone price it out yet?

You really need to do your own comparison matching your group's needs -- length of stay, ages of those in your party, number of people in your party, type of resort etc. Otherwise you wouldn't be comparing the same things. I am travelling with one adult & one child, so the savings for me at a value resort is about $50 when compared free dining, significantly more if I compared it to rack rates.

I got this email too. But mine also included purchase an adult 4 day/4 night stay for $632 and child stays, plans and dines free. And this includes free dining. The one for $377 does not include dining. I priced these online and it is actually a much high savings (a few hundred dollars). It is a good deal. But I just booked Free Dining in Aug/Sept.

It is weird that diffent offers are going out to people. Maybe they are testing to see which one works before they release new fall deals to the public.
I got this same code yesterday.:rolleyes1 I called, and had the CM price a 10 day trip(at the bottom of the e-mail,it said to ask about other lengths of stay etc.. hence the 10 day quote). It came out to be 700$ more than what I ALREADY HAVE BOOKED FOR MY FAMILY OF 4 in Sept.:scared1::scared1:::scared1::confused3I'm going to try again-maybe the CM was not doing it right? Anyhoo,BE CAREFUL,and know your prices!!!! That seemed very odd to me.

I had a room booked at 40% off, and earlier this week called to see how much changing it to a package with tickets and the quick service meal plan would cost and it came to just over $3,000.00. That's for a stay at Port Orleans Riverside, 5 people, 11/29-12/5.

With this code, the same package-except it comes with the regular dining plan, not the quick service plan-it came to approximately $2350!! And it was no problem that our trip was for later than the dates in the email!!

Yeah, I'm satisfied with this code. :thumbsup2

Don't forget your park tickets.

I got the 4 night code with tickets.

I just got off the phone. For my 6 night solo stay at Pop Century, I saved another 21% off of my original AAA room only rate. I cancelled it and took the pin code. So basically, I added a 6 day ticket to my room for $65.

Apparently, I got the lowest offer there is out there. My pin code today was for free park hopper and water park and more . . . a savings of $106. per trip for 2 adults. :confused3

I would even take that. I would take any pin code that comes my way. I called and no pin code for me:worried:
