Just got a mailer today and wondered if anyone had tried the code yet? I don't know if it's linked to my name only/one use or if it's something I can pass along. Anyone know anything about this promotion?

Yes, I did, but it came with my mother's name on it so I don't know if I would be able to use it. I emailed them to change her name to mine so hopefully I'll get another one next year!

It came in the mail and I'm not sure how I managed to get one. We were down there last Feb so I may be on the list from that trip, or it could be from my registration on disney.com, or it could be that we bought into DVC last year, or it could be my request for the planning dvd. This is the first time I've gotten a code and I won't be using it - too bad I couldn't pass it along!

Thanks for the info and the Welcome. It's funny how some people get on the lists and some don't. We have been to WDW practically every year, Been on DCL twice, signed up on line and also DVC members since 2002 and recently received the planning kit. Maybe that's it...we spend too much money there,they don't feel like they have to send out any discounts to get us there....

But the weird thing was they spelt my last name totally wrong!

They spelt it Stansovich, which is how it sounds, but it is spelt Zdancewicz! It's strange because I always spell my name out for them.

Anyways, I am so happy I got it. With the dates I'm going, I can save $1134 because of the postcard.

O.K. Any suggestions which on-site hotel we have done POR...and am now considering POP, CSR or BW...anyone who would like to provide their thoughts?

My logic would be when are you ever going to get a chance to try a deluxe Disney resort @ 40% off? For only 3 nights, I would choose the deluxe that you've always wanted to try and GO FOR IT!!! Have a magical trip!

Yes, it's only for the dates specified. In order to check if you have any offers attached to your name, you can either call and hope that the CM will actually check for you (keep calling until you get a good one) or you can check the site map on the Disney website. There is something there called "my offers" that you can click and see if there's anything there for you. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! This was the first time I've ever been able to use one of these (and almost wasn't allowed this time because it was in my mum's name but sent to my address) and I got the GF in August for $225/nt ($150/nt discount). I'm very excited - but just hope I don't have to show the card on check-in and get a hassle then because my name doesn't match the card! Good luck.

Yes - got mine today - first one ever DH is not too pleased though. This past Christmas we had discussed going away for a few days next Christmas instead of the mega, un-needed toys the kids get, but he thought more along the lines of the Great Wolf Lodge Niagara, but now I'm thinking DISNEY!!!

I'm very jealous of you guys!! I've been stalking the DW site waiting to see if they would have any offers come up for late Sept or early Oct & it looks like they do but I don't get one!!! Grrrr!! How frustrating! Oh, well....maybe next week?

Also, do you think that if they are now giving up to 40% off the rooms, they are not planning free dining this year? It seems extravagant to be able to offer both!!

I had to call WDW today for other reasons and I asked reservations about this discount. Unfortunately there was nothing attached to my name and he didn't know how people where chosen to receive these discounts. He said they were "randomly selected".Maybe next year...

Seems like there is no consistency (boo). We are basically in the same boat - visit often, do DCL, signed up on all the sites. The only thing missing is DVC (and I am trying darn hard lemme tell ya! ).

Maybe spmething will come in the mail on Monday??? Who am I kidding, I am just looking for an excuse to book. OUr last trip was DCL in Nov and not having a trip in the hopper is giving me hives LOL.
