Has anyone who booked online thru the new best rate program get anything in the mail? I can look at my reservation online and see the info so I know its there but when checking in at resorts I usually just hand them the paper confirmation.

If they are not sending out confirmations they should make the reservation page more printer friendly.

Thanks in advance for any answers.

Lori

When I called CRO to cancel a ressie becasue I had booked the AP best rate, I was told that I would receive a confirmation my mail. However, I have not received one yet. I made my AP best rate ressie about two weeks ago. I did receive a vacation planning packet within several days after booking the best rate.

Thanks for clearing that up. I received the planning packet also but wasn't sure if it was because of the best rate ressie or the old AAA rate ressie.

BTW, I haven't recieved a paper confirmation either.

Did you book room only or a package? I just booked room only will I get a planning package then also?

  :hourglass counting down  :cool1:

I have a room only reservation. You should receive a WDW vacation planning packet within several weeks after your reservation was made. The packet has info. on your resort, maps of the theme parks and WDW property, and a info. sheet where you can recored your dining reservation confirmation numbers.

I am sure that Disney will send out a paper confirmation for all online reservations, room only or package. As a TA, they fax me a confirmation sheet for packages and mail the paper confirmations (no faxes for room only). Since they are not sending out email confirmations with online reservations yet, they will need to send the paper confirmations to everyone who books online.

I haven't received any s-mail information reguarding my new "best rate" reservations. But I did receive in the mail about the cancellation of my previous reservations.

I don't think so. I booked my room only online reservation several months ago and all I get is the confirmation sheet you print out. I was told that when you book online you don't get anything mailed to you. You can go to the website and check on your reservation and print the page with all of your info on it. I believe this is one of the ways to cut their cost.

I didn't get a snail mail confirmation but I did get an email confirmation on the same day that I made my online reservation. It came from guest.mail@wdw.disneyonline.com. Yesterday, I got a mailed cancellation notice for my previous reservation. I didn't get a vacation planner though...

Received an email confirmation. I did receive the "planning folder" (purple with Tinkerbell) in the regular mail saying "They're happy we're coming back...".

The online ressie process certainly made it seem like you'd get something in the mail, but don't worry if you don't. I've checked in lots of times by just giving them my name or the confirmation number. There's no reason they should need to see any actual paperwork if you have that number.

ETA: I did receive an email confirmation after I booked though. You should get this if you entered your email in the appropriate section during the confirmation process. If you haven't yet I'd suggest giving CRO a call. I'm sure they'd be happy to send something out to you if you request it.

I rec'd an email and it said to print for your records....I also rec'd the planning pack but no confirmation.

Hey Lori!

Glad to see you'll get down for your Christmas Party! I'm sure it will be great.

I saw a good SW fare over Labor Day but just can't swing it right now.

Will give you a buzz over the weekend...Sharon

i did not receive any email confirmation or purple planning package but did receive a paper confirmation from best rate program but they are nothing like the old confirmation letters its just a plain piece of white paper that has hotel name rate and deposit(its probably what the rest of you were emailed and told to print for your records) :confused3
