Just curious. We booked to reservations- one for 5 days and one for 10. Anyone else?

Sounds great! I always eat LOTS more food on the DDP so if it wasnt for the fact we walk about 20 miles a day, we'd GAIN 10 lbs just like "that"(snap)!

We have 9 DDP days booked coming up this Sept. 5-14th. When will you be there?
If you see a wonderful redneck family with 4 kids ....RUN, run away! Just kidding. We're a great bunch!

Ditto for me my holiday starts 9/17 and finishes 10/02. Trouble is I have to go back to work on the 4th October.

We are going from the 13th-18th and then 18th -28th of August. We have annual passes that need to be renewed soon so we will just use the one day tickets we had to buy and add it to the renewal. With the special value season prices at Pop Century it is about $78 a day. We would probably spend more money at home because with school out we would go out to eat and have to entertain the kids. I think camp is more than $78 a day for both of them.

We have one 10 day reservation and one 6 day reservation. Bit of a pain with split, but what can you do?

We have two ten day reservations and will be at the AS Sports from September 20th thru October 10th.

Am I the only one who gets bummed out having the check out and then back in? ;)

Hi there cdntourguide, looks like we are going to be neighbors for a bit. Are you checking out on the 11th? I ask cause we are staying for 20 days as well and are checking in on the 20th and out on the 10th. :sunny:

paulh, hi there ! My son got a chance to travel to Manchester for work a couple of years back and since England is my second favorite country I was thrilled. The only place that beastly boy visited was Ozzie Osbourne's home. I swear I raised him better than that. I would not have minded if he had visited other places as well. :confused3

See you all there!! I am starting to get excited. :dance3:

bluejasmine. this 20 day trip is cheaper than the 10 day one I had already planned for this spring. It also helps that instead of two trips we are combining into one big one. We have never stayed this long before. I am getting a bit nervous as they have closed down one of our favorite attractions (Millionaire) and that means a whole lot more free time than we had figured on. Bet we find something to fill up the time although it will not be nearly as much fun. I did want that cruise and was getting closer each time. :sad2:

Our first trip was only 3 days and through the years we have been able to add days almost each trip so I bet you will be able to done day also! :cheer2:

most eropean holidays (vacations) are of 14 nights thats why we do 14 nights when we go disney. We tend to get more holidays than you worked out yanks

Paul, we are a retired couple so we have lots of time, just not enough cash to spend EVERY week vacationing. :sunny:

When my husband was working he got five weeks vacation a year and then two weeks at the holidays. It was a great place to work. We were lucky.

I have read a lot and know some people from England so I know about your fabulous vacations. Good for you!! If I had to travel as far as you I would want to stay somewhere for a long time as well. Do you guys always go to DW?

Catherine of Aragon divorced
Anne Boleyn beheaded
Jane Seymour died in childbirth
Anne of Cleves divorced
Katherine Howard beheaded
Katherine Parr survived but died in childbirth having Tom Seymour's daughter.

It just goes to show that

Keeping it 'all in the family" is not necessarily a good thing and 'get thee to a nunnery' is more than an expression.

Being good looking, friendly with the staff and having a husband who is not afraid to admit to being cuckold is not indictive of a long marriage.

Giving your husband what he wants and then dying will endear you, at least compared to his other wives.

Never trust a picture. Even before Photoshop they were making things seem better than they were. Being ugly does have its advantages since your husband is not likely to think that anyone else will want anything to do with you and you might just slink off into obscurity and live happily ever after.

Being close to your family can be considered a bad thing, a very bad thing.

When forced to marry the king be grateful that he is old and sick and dependent upon you for care. If you can but outlive him you just might get your fondest wish, even if it is not exactly what you dreamed of.

Just goes to show what I have always thought. Marriage should be harder and divorce easier. :dance3:

PaulaSB12, I am impressed as most people know more of other countries history than their own. Of course your country as far more history than ours does. :sunny:
