Anyone get AP rate for Boardwalk????

I've seen a lot of AKL and Polynesian so far....
But not much for Boardwalk.
Anyone able to get AP rate at the Boardwalk for October??
If so, what was the rate?

For October 13 to 19 all that was available at the Boardwalk was conierge. From what the the Guest Services CM (was transfered by CRO) said she didn't think many if any standard view ap rates came out for that time period.

I booked concierge but I'm gonna keep calling back closer to my date. I did this on one other trip and rooms had opened at the ap rate.

I was just quoted $983 waterview for 3 nites, Oct 16-19 but that seemed kinda high to me so I passed.

I noticed that there are lots of dates that people are not getting with AP rates. For those that would consider renting points from a DVC owner, you might end up with a much better rate.

We are renting points for our 11 night trip in Jan 2004 and paying $130/night (total) for a BWV studio (standard view). I really think you won't get a better deal than renting points. The rack rate for the room is $289 so even with an AP rate it wouldn't beat the cost per night that I am paying.

Just thought I would mention it for those aren't getting the great rate they hoped for!

I was praying for AP rates at either the BWI or BWV for 10/22-10/29. The kind CM I spoke to said there was only one night available for for that week ( I got through at exactly 7am)!!!

Needless to say, I am very disappointed. I am also worried that it may be much busier than I had originally anticipated!!!

Welovedis- I just posted on the DVC board. Hoping something is available!!!

I am going to keep my fingers crossed and keep trying!!!

I called CRO a couple hours later to see if I could get some days standard room ap rate and some rack rate. Right off the bat the wonderful CM (Hunter ) asked me if I wanted a water view. At first she could only get it for 5 nights and boy did she work trying to squeeze that 6 night. So we decided to do 5 nights at AP and one rack rate. When she changed the room category to water view in my existing reservation it was accepted all 6 nights. Then she looked again and saw standard view available for all 6 nights. So I was able to book what I originally wanted. Standard view 6 nights totaling $1331. I don't know if I just got lucky and while on the phone someone canceled reservations or if they opened up more rooms. I suggest if you didn't get an ap rate for your stay that you keep trying.
