Anyone get a PIN recently?

Several members of my family received the Monster pin yesterday and today. Can't use it as my October dates are excluded.

My boss uses my email address for his bookings and he got the monster pin code and can't use it! I should fight it since it has my name in the email address. By the way, he's gotten a coupld in less than a 12 month period.

I also got the Monster pin again today. Had received it a few weeks ago (both email and snail mail). I also got a cruise pin email today for 15% off cruise rates for Jan 2011 - April 2011. We took a Disney cruise a few years ago so don't know if that's why I got it. So there are cruise pins out there.

Me too. I got the cruise pin and the Monster pin today in e-mail. I didn't realize they had cruise ones! So cool! I've been pricing out cruises lately for early next year.

Got another PIN today - by email it has a white rabbit on the email and says on the side DON’T BE LATE FOR THIS FLORIDA RESIDENT RATE! Too bad I live in Alabama......and my profile says I live in Alabama. Maybe we are moving and my DH hasn't told me yet......

I got a monster pin yesterday, but it was only for select dates-- one week in Sept., one week in Oct, one in Nov. and one in Dec.

my husband and I both got monster pins this week. oddly enough my parents who went with us last year did not receive one.

there are many different 'schools of thought' on getting a pin, from personal experience...
my DH and I are both registered at the disney website and have received the planning dvds. we also just got a pin that is valid for the dates we travel last year-my birthday. I think they knew this- those smarties have me considering another trip now

It would appear that I have gone from getting every Pin that comes out to not getting any. I have not seen one in about 3 months. Good thing I was already able to take advantage of a 40% Pin for December.

Got mine yesterday only 4 days after booking through AAA. As it turns out, it's for 7 nights (we have 8) and for the weeks prior to or after ours.

Go figure.

Disney sends them out with no rhyme or reason. Just sign up on disney.com maybe you might get one. Order a dvd. Also plan out a trip and put on there that you are going to stay offsite you might just get one.

We got the Monster code via snail mail a few weeks ago and yesterday we got the same Monster off via email. Until I see otherwise I doubt Disney's sincerity when it says it is going to slow down with the discounts. They are tweaking them but are far from eliminating them.
