anyone get a discount in May 07?

I'm just wondering if discounts come out for May since it's regular season. I'll be thrilled with a ticket upgrade but will keep my fingers crossed for 40% off the room! Oh, is that 40% code for all resort types, including value?

May 07 was a ticket upgrade . . . free hopper and water.

We had a room rate discount in May of '07 at the Poly, using a public code. I don't recall what %, without pulling all the old paperwork back out... but it was better than the AAA rate by a significant amount. Was NOT 40%, though (I'm thinking more like 25%) !

I got a discount of approximately 30% at Wilderness Lodge in May '07.

Question - if I'm going in May '08 and initially buy a regular ticket package in the hopes that a free upgrade will come out, will I be able to upgrade (by paying the difference) if an upgrade doesn't come out? Also, if I buy the hopper and water park option in the first place and a free upgrade code comes out, can I apply that and save the $? I don't want to shoot myself in the foot, so-to-speak, if there is some way that I can get the same tickets in the end for less $.

Yes, you can add to the base ticket later or get a refund if you buy the extras now and a code comes out.
