Anyone get a cabana / lanai from a cancellation ?

Booked 2 br for June . Thought u needed to pay up front for cabanas/lanai. Called and nothing is available until day before we leave . Anyone know or had any luck getting one thru a cancellation ?

Its definitely possible because people hold them until they firm up their plans, so try calling back closer to your trip. In our case, we had the upper veranda booked. We checked in for it and spent about 10 minutes there before we realized it wasn't for us, and politely requested to cancel and get a refund at that point, which they obliged. So someone lucked out and got the upper veranda last minute that day. So it does happen!
