anyone from the UK bought GFV already?

We're thinking seriously about buying some GFV points, but were told you had to be in the US. Today, I read that it seems some people already bought them from UK. If this is true, then it would be easy for us to have the paperwork sent to a friend in the UK and go over there to sign the docs. Anyone any experience? Thanks!!!

Don't know who told you that you had to be in the US. Anyone can buy, just contact Disney Vacation Club. If you want to buy, they will send you all the paperwork by courier. If you want a name for a recommendation (just in case they are offering any offers with a referral, which they sometimes do for first time buyers), feel free to message me.

As a UK resident we can buy from the UK.

It's down to timeshare laws as to whether they can sell in the country you live in. They can only sell to certain provinces in Canada for example and anyone not living in those provinces has to buy whilst in Disney.
