Anyone from the North East ready For Disney!

I am most definently ready for out April trip  . We're looking at about 12" here in Philadelphia.

Here in Western CT we have 26 inches and its still falling and drifting. Just wishing it was May and I was with Mickey! Jealous of all of you who are leaving this week.

We've got about 9" here in the eastern panhandle of WV, and it looks like we are leaving for the sunshine state the same day as you. Are you heading out of BWI? Maybe we'll see you there!

We are driving. We will be staying at POR. I'll be running around with my green Mickey heads with a husband that is rolling his eyes. Hope to see you there. :sunny:

We just moved to NC in November so we are thrilled we missed this... although my dh is in NY right now... can't wait to get to WDW too!

:wave2: Your puppy looks just like my ShihTsu when she was a baby. She is 14 years old now and still my best friend. Her name is Lady. What is you puppy's name. :)

We lucked out with the snow in Western MA. only about 4 inches! I was motivated shoveling by thinking about where I will be next week!! Hoping for some warm weather in Disney! If not - the hot tubs are sounding really good after a long day in the parks! 8 days in Florida!!! (5 with the in-laws) - but oh well!!! HA!

We got 27" in NYC. DH is a public school so he had to go in today, while I got to stay home (worked on Sat. so I could be off Mon.) We don't know what they were thinking with the schools. :confused3 When I drove him to work this morning he just kept saying "3 days till Disney, 3 days till Disney...." :lmao:

I absolutely love snow and was looking forward to a very ssowing winter here in Orono, Maine but of course my freshman year the storms have been few and far between we got maybe five inches yesterday :sad2: My family in NH has more snow than I do!

We've gone down to Disney in the early spring and even did a Disney cruise one year. The cruise few years ago was in late February and a big storm hit and we weren't sure we could catch our train for the south. Standing in a foot of snow in Ohio and then arriving in Philly to catch train south was an experience. Seeing all the snow out the train window and at the Philly station made me think, why do I live in Ohio. Going to Florida during the north snow season but returning home, tanned and not properly attired for snow, sucks. That trip, we arrived back in Ohio, to 4 inches of more snow and our train comes into Alliance Ohoi at 1:30am and we're still 45 minutes from home on a good day. Dragging your suitcase through 4 inches of snow, to your snow covered car, scrapping off the windshield of ice dressed for the south is a trying experience best stated as "We should move south".

This is the time of year, that cabin fever sets, too much winter and spring is just too far away and a Disney vacation is looking better and better every day!

I'm here in the northern part of Md we got 18" of the white stuff over the weekend, I just hate it.
Hoping to get down to the World in Oct. for MNSSHP.

I guess I am one of the lucky ones. Here in Central PA., we missed the snow completely other than some flurries. Normally, we get slammed this time of year. I think some towns near me got a few inches, not bad in comparison.

Since I'm usually thinking about Disney, snow just reminds me of how much I dislike holding a shovel. Todays weather(55 with sunshine and a slight breeze) reminds me of [insert favorite Disney resort] at 6:00 am taking the leisurely stroll to the food court(or some other breakfast destination). Problem is, I have to wait until 2:00 pm to get that weather here.

Anyway, here's to lookin' forward to opening the "passporter" that I just received today and hopefully doin' okay for my first post.

Now, to figure out how to get all that cool stuff in my next post.
