Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a nice, casual restaurant to go to before an event at the Fleet Center and would like to walk between the two. Does anyone have any suggestions? TIA.

Go to the Cantina on Hanover Street. Its really close to the Fleet. You can't miss the restraunt...it has a HUGE neoon sign above it.

k9disney,

If you go to Hanover St. (a very easy walk from the Fleet) you would be hard pressed to find a BAD meal. That is the North End, and you will find great Italian.

There is also a small-ish TGI Fridays across the street from the front entrance of the Fleet (go under the trolley tracks, and go right up about a block and a half.)

Have FUn!

I agree with the others North End = Yummy!

There is also a restaurant/bar across the street that we enjoy. Its called The Harp. Its your basic bar fare, but its pretty good.

I have been working next door to the Fleet Center for the past ten years and have eaten at every single restaurant around here several times.

I would suggest, unless you want to walk to the North End, that you try the Fours (named for Bobby Orr.) It is casual, but the food is really quite good most of the time.

It is on Canal Street, a couple streets down and around the corner.

Never been in there CamColt. Would you bring kids in there or not? (Going to the circus soon. :D)

Yes, Teejay, I actually have brought my oldest son in there once when he was just one. We had dinner there before his first Bruins Game. :) We were seated far enough away from the bar that it didnt effect us. DH & I have a tradition to go there for a drink before every hockey game we go to(without the kids of course) because thats what we did on our second date. Ive seen quite a few families in there to eat, even though the bar does get pretty crowded too. I would assume before or after the circus there would probably be even more families there for food as opposed to people there to drink.
Let us know how the circus was.
