Anyone from Indiana? Question on I-65

Coming from Chicago, going thru Indiana on I-65....how does Lake effect snow interfere with driving? Does it have a big impact on the highway? We're leaving Friday for our drive, and we were planning on taking 65 down, but I see theres some snow predicted, and if it would make the drive horrible, then maybe we'll go down thru Illinois. Thanks for any info!
