Anyone From Illinois Visiting in September?

My family will be visiting WDW the first week of September. We are staying at the CBR. I was wondering if there are any of you visiting from Illinois at the same time?

Well, we are from Illinois but will be at the WL Sept 17th - 24th. I don't know about you but I can't wait!

Actually I live across the river from St. Louis in Belleville, IL.

Sorry, mlbretscher we are driving. My DH doesn't want to fly. The drive is 16 hours with minimal stops. However, I'm still checking airline rates...If you don't mind what rates did you get? We will be staying @ AKL.

Howdy neighbor! I live in Edwardsville (I just returned on Monday--I'm a slave to the school calendar and have to go when it's hot and/or crowded. LOL!)

We live in Mascoutah, IL and will be staying at the AKL Lodge from 9/18-9/25. We usually stay at the ASM, but this year we are going to be completely spoiled.

i lived in belleville all my life, moved to edwardsville for siu, then moved north 10 miles from great america......
i miss down state sooooooooo much.
the weather in northern illinois stinks. we only have two seasons up here.
the 4th of july and winter.

by the way, i am not going in sept but going in oct on the first.

We might have to change our October tri p to September...waiting to get it all figured out (might change it to November as another option). We're from Libertyville, IL near Great America also (eeyore45 what town are you in)?

We thought about driving too, but then I got an e-mail from SW and could not pass it up! We are paying $91 per person each way, which I thought was a great deal! The total with all the taxes and aiport surcharges was slightly over $1,000 for all five of us. We will actually fly down on 9/10 in the morning (We have a room only for just Friday night, and our park hopper passes start on Sat 9/11) and we fly back on Sat 9/18 at night. I just drove all three kids (9,7 & 3.5) for a mini-vacation to Atlanta by myself and that was far enough for me.
