Anyone from Buffalo?

.
For hair someone told me about Capellos have you heard any thing about them???

I Have a cousin that works there, alot of my family goes to them and they love it. The girls are really nice

i'm not but the majority of my father's family is in Cheektowaga and he grew up in Farnham. We go there 4 or 5 times a year.

Hi everyone, I have been messing around on here for a little while and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Jennifer, my husbands name is Tim. We have two kids, a 6 year old named Timmy and a 4 year old named Emma. We have been Dvc members since 2004 SSR. We actually live in a suburd of Buffalo called the Town of Tonawanda, is anyone else from our neck of the woods?
Hello,

Were from West Seneca

Yes Cappellos (on Main St) is very good. I was originally going to rec there but I like the Lion's Mane too (a little cheaper). If you go to Capello's ask for Nathan, he's a friend!
I wish I could help you with a Dr. Did you ask before you left LI? Being so close to UB you'd think your old Dr could recommend someone maybe associated with the school for you.

Her Dr.'s were not able to recommend a general Dr. just neurologists and neurosurgeons so I will wait and ask them who they would recommend. In the mean time I am praying she does not get sick:confused:

Oh this is fun, reading familiar business and town names!

I'm originally from Town of Tonawanda, too - 2 blocks from Green Acres Elementary and 1 block from Ken East. Spent high school years in Amherst and moved into Allentown as a young adult.

FL's home now... we're currently experiencing a cold front - it's only 70 today! (Sorry - I think I'm allowed that after 20+ years of Buffalo winters, right? ;)

Yeah, but isn't it great that we have the advantage of having fabulous medical personnel, both on site and at the hospitals, who came to the rescue? The quick thinking and response to these injuries surely saved the lives of these young athletes. We Western New Yorkers are a hearty bunch! Disney in 5 WEEKS!:goodvibes :cool1:

We are very fortunate to have the medical community that we have here. My wife is a NP at Roswell and they do wonderful things there as well. Go Bills and Sabres. AKL April 11-20!!

My DH has 15 more years until he retires then we will be south bound... hopefully Florida, as long as I am close to the mouse and in warm weather.:beach:

Hi, I am also from Buffalo, actually live right here in Tonawanda, I just joined this about a week ago hoping to find points for sale for sometime in October, a friend told me about this, its nice to know all of you are on here too..stay warm!!!!!

Well I just wanted to say Hi to everyone who replied to me. I am really glad that I am not the only one from Buffalo who is hating this weather.  :scared1:

Hi friends,

Born and raised here. Currently live in Lancaster. I love the area, although it has been a long freeze. I hear it will be 40's on Sunday:banana: Going to WDW with my kids for the first time in April. :woohoo:

I agree with the posts about health care. There are not many small cities with both a great Children's Hospital and a Cancer Institute.

As for Peds. I have great things to say about Lancaster/Depew Pediatrics. It's located on Genesee, between Harris Hill and Transit.

Hi.My DH was born and raised in Lancaster, he graduated LHS in 86. All of my in-laws are over there too.
We picked Clarence so it would be close to a hospital in case of an emergency with my daughter.
I am still trying to figure out where I am and how to get to places. I know if I am on Transit I will find something I need.:thumbsup2

I was born and raised in Buffalo but now live in Omaha. I go back once a year to see relatives and friends from high school. I graduated from Riverside in 1976. I grew up in Black Rock and Riverside. Now most of my relatives live in Tonawanda and Williamsville.

I'm a Buffalonian too. Today actually seemed fairly warm - maybe it's because the sun was out for the first time in a long while! Tomorrow should be interesting ... rain, warm up, then start to freeze.

Today was nice out!! We went to the fairgrounds for the Home and Garden show, people were sweating in there...
