Anyone from Buffalo? Need your input...

I haven't been to WDW since I was 15, and I'm trying to understand how crowded it will be when I'm there. I'm familiar with the UG ratings 1-10. If UG says it will be a 6 or 7 during my stay, how does that compare to the crowds at the Taste of Buffalo this weekend? What would you rate those crowds down Delaware if you were using the UG system? It was mobbed in front of many booths and I couldn't walk comfortably with my kids unless I was on the sidewalks behind the vendors or at the end near Niagara Square...what do you think? Is this what Disney is going to look like? Worse? Better?

Hi Joy!

I'm from B-lo but did not go to the Taste this weekend unfortunately. I have been in the past when it was on Main st. so I have a good idea of how it usually is. If you're planning to go during peak season I think you can expect crowds similar to those you would find during the Tase of Buffalo. We went in July, which by the way is one of the few times I have gone to WDW during a crowded time, we usually go in Sept. or Jan, and it was packed. There are people everywhere.

Of course the parks are larger so you will be able to walk around, duck into shops etc..It's a different flow of traffic cause you don't have people basically walking up and down one street.. It's manageble. But there are A LOT of people, and it's hot!

I personally stick to the off season.

We went to TOB last year and it was horrible, never again. We could not move and it was impossible to push the stroller. That said we also went to Disney last July and though it was busy it was no where near as bad as TOB. You definately have more room to move and we never had to wait long for anything.
