Anyone from Alberta flying to Orlando???

Has anyone found any good deals to Orlando flying out of Calgary or has anyone used any tricks or anything.......I've noticed that a lot of people from Ontario are driving to different airports and saving a lot of money. I know Westjet sometimes has some amazing deals but you have to be fast!

We always book with Westjet and we book as soon as they have 40% or 50 % off. We paid around $2200 for 4 of us back in February for our July surprise trips to Orlando connecting in Toronto.

There was a great deal with Westjet for Sunday flights between Calgary and Orlando until the middle of June, $312 all in withe the $50 off code they were offering. I think the code expired yesterday but even without the code it was very reasonable. (I suspect they added these flights when they stopped the flights to Mexico)
We have gotten flights from Edmonton under $400 but not seen them recently. Keep watching the buzz on Kayak.com.

Have you flown to Orlando in January????? When we went last year I paid less than $2000 for 5 of us and we flew with Northwest. I found the deal the summer before we left. Hopefully that will be the case this year?????

Consider flying to Tampa and renting a car if you can find a cheaper flight. We just flew there from Calgary for under $300 each during our spring break this year. I purchased the tickets this past December. That was with Continental. Also try subscribing to Airfare Watchdog. They email several times a week with deals out of your city of choice.
