Anyone for the Western cruise 4/9/05???

Wow, another, thats 3 families in the past week!! But Welcome aboard!!!! can't wait to meet you!

What is the temperature in the caribbean during April, anyone know? The last time we cruised was in October '03.

And the Passporter Says: ( ) Average highs are 82 and average lows are 66, both in F of course it will be perfect weather for us northerners, so much cold, We always joke we'll be getting on the plane in sweatshirts and getting off in shorts =)


We Should Definately make areangements for a meetup, I say the sailaway party would be a great time, so where should we meet, or if anyone has a better time, speak up I say we do it by the Midship Stack, but I'm already warning, as soon as we actually start sailing I'm hedding to the back of the ship to watch us go, Last time we lest i was able to stay until i had to go get ready for dinner, which happened to be the exact time that we went completly out at sea! *misses the boat*

I am also worried about the placement of my DD's too. Last year they didn't like the club at all In fact, my 5 year old keeps saying she is excited for the trip but no club! We shall see what happens. Actually it doesn't matter because the baby is only 2 and she will be with us anyway!

Can't believe we are down to 39 days!

When should I expect our docs i wonder?

There is another thread about this question. The answers vary, some get theirs as early as 5 or 6 weeks. I read where someone got theirs 12 days before I think we can start watching for ours now! It always makes it more exciting when we get our docs!!

I am hoping that it starts warming up enough here that I can get out on the boat dock and get some sun before we cruise! My neighbor has a tanning bed and told me I could use it, but they scare me so I won't!!!

Time to get the dd's off to school.

I can't wait to get the Docs that will be great. It will feel like the cruise is getting closer.

Both my DS sent out emails last night. We finally had a little time to get them at the computer. So WIlliam, Jake, Spencer and Jeremy should look for them.

It was so exciting for Jeremy to get the email from Spencer, it is so nice to go knowing that we will know some people. I would love to meet on the ship, we should definitely make a plan. Today my kids have early dismissal because of the snow and my DS who has afternoon k, doesn't even get to go. This is the third time he has missed school b/c of an early dismissal. I am just waiting for the snow to start.

The sail away party would be the best time!! I know we will be on the right side of the stage (when looking at the stage in front of you) on Deck 10. That is where we stood last time and had a great view of the dancing below. Great place to video.

No snow here, just cold rain !!

I called Disney Cruise Lines today and they stated that our cruise docs were printed today. We should have them within a week.

Its beeing snowing on and off all day here , it so needs to warm up, cant wait till we're on the ship, it definately wont be cold then! Jake will be really happy about the e-mail, seeing as he is ungrounded today so he can check it now too

Lets make a plan then, Deck 10, Midship, facing the stage or on the stage side? we should all have something so we can identify eachother...like a ribbon or something

Mom was looking at Airline prices (still) and she finaly found a price waaaay cheaper,....$400 dollars cheeper for the 10 of us! She boviously bougth them and canceled the other ones (no charge yet, only a few days from that though) But now we fly at night, we get there at 11 pm and spend the night at Pop century, an EXTRA DAY!!!

38 days!!!

Who did you book through?? We booked through DU. I think ours have to go to DU first then to us so we won't be getting them for another few days!!

I would love to get our documents, it just make it seem so real! Do you have all the documents filled out??

We are booked thru DU. Our docs were sent directly to us from DCL. They were delivered by UPS.

Oh great, this means our UPS man is not safe.....I will be chasing him down looking for our documents

Maybe they will be here tomorrow. Isn't it a nice feeling to have them in your hands. It makes it seem so real.

Now the only thing I worry about is trying to keep everyone healthy. Taking one dd to the doctor tomorrow thinking she has an ear infection. I keep telling her to be extra careful while doing gymnastics. We don't need any broken bones

I am getting more and more excited.

I'm a little worried. I just went to the DCL page to look at our reservation and my confirmation number is not working. I booked through AAA, but shouldn't it be showing up on DCL?

No, if you book with someone other DCL it will not show up on DCL web page. DCL will not even talk to you if you call them. I wish we could see ours on line. I think I would be checking it all the time to see if we had an pixie dust and got a free upgrade

Thanks, that's a relief! The only reason I could sleep last night was because I had a thought that our booking through AAA might be the reason. The error message said something about an agency discrepency.

I booked through DU as well. Will the documents come by UPS? I'll be watching for the brown truck today... I hope they come today... I can't wait!!!

It's true that booking outside of DCL is the reason the booking number "does not compute" on their website but I found that the CMs were very helpful. I called DCL to confirm my booking number, stateroom number, costs, etc., when I couldn't access through their website and I booked via a TA. With both calls, the CMs were accomodating.
