Anyone following the Australian Open?

I'm running out of people to root for! I am pulling for Martina for the women and the men, I don't know I am thinking Davydenko.

Who eo you want to see win?

I am SO happy to see Martina back playing!

I am so excited!! I just got tickets to the next tournament that starts this coming week. It is in Delray Beach and my favorite players are going to be playing. Tommy Haas, Andre Agassi, James Blake....Delray Beach Tennis

I got tickets for Wednesday and Saturday (the Semi-finals)!!! :cool1:

I can't wait!!! :cool1:

I think I'm gonna root for Hingis for the women.

I still don't know about the men....but I hope that Kiefer LOSES THIS MATCH. What a poor sport to throw his racket. Ridiculous.

Ahhhhh, so close AGAIN to say bye bye Federer this slam!

I think I'm going to root for Baghdatis in the men's draw.

With only a few matches to go, Melbourne looked like a great venue. I liked the little park they had with the big screen tvs so everybody outside the stadium can watch the match. A lot more atomosphere than the pro tourney around here (ATP Cincinnati). Also glad that ESPN2 carried a lot of the matches live.

Wished Hardenne would have stuck it out. It makes her look bad to pull out with only a stomach bug. After beating Sharapova and Davenport...well it's a big let down. Other than Davenport, are there any other Americans that might have a good year?

I agree about Henin-Hardenne!! I really like her a lot and to be honest, I lost a little respect for her after that. I just wonder if she'd been so quick to concede the match if the scores had been reversed. I agree with Brad Gilbert when he said that she could have just stood there and let Mauresmo hit the balls and win it properly and really be able to celebrate her first grand slam win.

Rooting for Baghdatis tomorrow! No way I'm getting up at 3:30am est to see it. Glad ESPN2 is repeating at noon.

I'm really bummed that ESPN2 didn't show the trophy ceremony when they rebroadcast the match at noon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wish I had seen this thread earlier, I love tennis and have no-one to watch with. I tried to watch the Federer match live but couldn't stay awake, so watched the rebroadcast at noon. I hate it when they don't show the award ceremony, if it was football they would still be talking about it.

I'll look for you guys next tournment.
