What are your experiences with this company? We're flying to Philadelphia and then down to MCO and vice-versa on our return. We have been able to book our seats online by using our booking reference to login to their website and chose all our seats - didn't cost anything either!!

We flew with them a couple of years ago from Gatwick to (I think) St. Louis.

They were fine, average food, naff IFE, reasonable seating. The flights were all on time, and the connections worked well. Just make sure you have at least 2 hours between flights going to allow for US Immigration.

:)

Our flight leaves from Manchester at 10.00am and according to the sheet gets us to Philadelphia at 13.55 - thats 9 hrs flight (it only takes 9 hrs to get all the way down to Orlando, so guess this is an over exaggeration) and our connecting flight then leaves Philadelphia at 15.55 and gets us to Orlando 18.20 - coming back - there's a 4 hour wait between flights, so we should be OK (provided no delays!!)

flight from uk will proberly be operated by BMI (I think one of the best in the market) usa side will be Ted bit like our ryanair, easyjet
Have booked throught bmi and united and found them great

paulh, don't think US airways, will be operated by bmi & ted, that will be a united flight ( have got mixed up before )
we have flown both us & united, for us we preferred united, although nothing wrong with US,just thought the seats were roomier on united, & as we were going to hawaii, the extra comfort was welcome.

We flew to via Philadelphia last year - unfortunately there was a 4 hr delay at Manchester (that they knew about the day b4 but still made everybody turn up at the airport) - on arrival we were lucky to still be able to get a connecting flight to Charlotte - but some people going on to Orlando were overnighted:sad1:

Apart from that everything else was fine (apparently this flight had had problems for a few weeks & we ween't the only ones delayed)

flew with them a few years ago from man via Philly .. I loved the flight great legroom (2" more in the front section of Economy ;) but Shhhh don't tell everyone) the films were a bit old but I found this was compensated nicely with the ability to Pause/stop rewind etc its nice to pause while you have a meal and also to get to see the start of every film. Also I found the crew to be the best I have had in economy, great fun and very attentive.

I am going with BMI this time but only due to being cheaper at the time than US.. I would have gone with either
