Anyone flying PVD to MCO in August?

I came in from my barn this morning and saw the Ding on my computer. I've been watching fares for months now, hoping they would come down. As I clicked it I thought to myself if August is available I'm bookigng Previously they'd only been offering through July 31st (as I'm sure you all know)

I put in my dates and no DING for my way down .....unless we go a day before.....OK.....sold!!!! So we now have an extra day Woo Hoo!!!

I got one-way for $44 PVD-MCO. Now I have to book my return flight on 9/3 or 9/4. I wonder if they will have a Labor Day special....

I'm watching Jet Blue as well.

I am...we are flying home on 9/3 ~ Sunday of Labor Day weekend. We already have our flight booked though. I waited and waited with Jet Blue, then cried each time I saw the price go up. When SW opened I booked right away since I was too afraid the same thing would happen. I would love to get a sale or Ding for the return flight home, but I'm not really expecting anything.

Did they have Labor Day specials last year?

This is our 1st WDW trip at this time of year so I have no idea what to expect for airfare. I figure even if I have to spend over $100 for the return trip at least I got a cheap flight one way! Jet Blue's return fare of $119 isn't bad.

What did you get for a rate on 9/3?

our flight home is $130 pp (including taxes etc)

I did notice Jet Blue now has the $119 flight home, but they didn't a few months ago.

Cepmom - Not sure if you can change your reservation but I just booked my return flight on SW for $59. The fare was good for Sunday 9/3 and Monday 9/4. Good luck!

I did see that too...the only flight available on 9/3 was at 7:55 AM ~ that's too early since we are going on a Disney Cruise so I changed it to Monday morning instead!! I could not pass up that price! I am so excited about the great deal I got for airfare! We have leftover plus passes from some old hopper passes so we'll spend the day at either Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon instead of the airport. DH has a free night certificate for a hotel he uses a lot for business travel so no extra money spent on a hotel for the night either!

Original price was $522, now it's $240. Thanks SW
