I see a lot of JetBlue and Airtran posts here, but none for Delta.

Anyone flown/flying with them?

That is who we are with for our trip in a couple months. :hippie:

I have flown them alot for business, they have always been good.

I'm flying them the first time for vacation in December (frequent flyer tickets), they have changed the schedule several times, actually in our favor.

We're flying Delta for the first time for our September trip. Our times have not changed, just the flight numbers. Don't really know what that entails.

Looking forward to the trip though, so how we get there doesnt' really matter as longs as we get there safe and sound and relatively on time!

We have flown Delta quite a bit. Only complaint is that they change our times without notifying us when it happens.

Yep. Flew Delta on our trip to WDW last September and will be flying them again in less than 2 weeks. While they tend to change the flight schedules around frequently, their actual flights were the best we have taken in a long time.

Our most recent flights on Delta were with what I consider to be professional flight crews (as opposed to what I found surprising on flights with other airlines that we have taken within the past year: flight attendant standing at the front of the cabin reading a Harry Potter book on one flight. On a flight with a different company a young married couple - yes they announced this over the loudspeaker - were the flight attendants and throughout the flight were paying more attention to each than the passengers). Best of all, each segment of our flight with Delta departed on time and arrived at each destination 10 - 15 minutes early. Our experience with Delta has been great!

Oh thank you, I am glad to hear positive reviews! We are not frequent fliers at all. (I've flown a whopping one time ...well twice since it was round-trip) in my life! lol

As long as they don't make our arrival time later, we'll be okay. I've got an ADR at Boma that I don't want to be late for! :)

I fly Delta often, I have never had a problem with them, in fact, I flew home on Friday and the flight was delayed due to the weather in NY, they emailed me and called my cell phone not just once but each time the delay was changed, first it was an hour, then went to two hours and I was notified however it didn't help me because I was using Magical Express and I had to go to the airport at the time I was scheduled but I was happy they notified me.

We've flown Delta (or SWA) to Disney for years and will continue. As others have said, flight times may change, so just check at least weekly (many other airlines do this also). If something changes that doesn't work well for you, simply call and discuss it (or if you seem to have lost your seat assignment ----- usually you haven't, but it can appear that way). Most airlines are pretty good about putting you on another flight, if they possibly can.

You can find lots of unhappy flyers and critics of most of the airlines these days, so don't panic if you get some negative posts. Stuff happens, unfortunately. We'vebeen satisfied with Delta flights.

It's not uncommon for flights on many airlines to be delayed ... not convenient, but it's what's happening now, with fewer flights being scheduled.

Hope you have a fantastic trip!

The family is flying Delta for Dec. Trip. My DH just flew Delta last week. There was a small mechanical problem with his connecting flight and they wanted everyone to fly to the destination the next day. They were going to put them all up in a hotel for the night. He needed to get to the destination by that night. They did everything they could to get him there. They bent over backwards to help. He was very happy with the service. :)
